sounds like "wug, wug, wug" getting faster un sound as the car rolls faster.
then i found out lumuwag pala un locknut nun sa bearing. kaya pala maalog din un gulong when i jacked it up.

binalik ko sa pinagpagawan, then hinigpitan ng "onti" un locknut, then after test drive, lumuwag uli!!! tapos sinikipan na using x-wrench

what seems to be the problem here??? gano kahigpit ba dapat un locknut?

Part 2: (kanina lang)
may naririnig na2man akong similar sound just like before nun maluwag un locknut, so that's my suspicion. dinala ko uli un car sa pinagpagawan for the 2ND time then pagjack nila di na maluwag, pero the sound still exists!!! they cannot determine the issue.

i doubt this time, baka nasira na un bearing coz of those times na maluwang xa tapos pinapaandar ko OR sobrang higpit naman un locknut this time.

please help me on this. bothering talaga un problem. thanks

Tama si Speedyfix, dalhin nio sa machine shop to pull out the bearing.

Hi Colt, yes puede mo din basis yung vibration sound na "wung-wung" when the tire is rolling. Pero sometimes kasi, that kind of sound is also caused by tires. My suggestion is pa pull out mo bearing, then put your finger in the bearing whole then paikutin mo bearing, pag may naramdaman kang paramg may sumasayad or gumagalasgas pag umiikot palitan mo na siya (may tama na bearing), or pag wala naman ipabalik mo bearing then pa re-pack mo yung grasa ng bearing. Another way of checking your bearing is, pa lift mo sasakyan pero dapat yung naka hang yung tires, then hawakan mo top and bottom ng gulong then galawin mo, pag may play yung tires may possibility na din na may tama bearings mo. I hope this could help, it's based on my experience din.

Sa part 2 mo possible nasira na nga bearing, pa buksan mo uli then check the bearing.

Yan yung suggestion ko kila junddog and colt.:cool01:

may way para ma tighten ang bearing, the old fashion way is to tighten it until you cannot turn the hub, then loosen it until it turns freely. this is the same as seating your bearing. of course nowadays a torque wrench is use to tighten it. your lock nut getting loose could be due to the following, the lock cap is not bend enough and the lock pin was not spread enough to rest on one of the groove of the nut. also the two screw of the lock nut in the case of a axle with a locking hub (4x4) could come loose if nut impact tighten properly.

btw, usually yun rear axle bearing ang need press out and press in sa machine shop. in rear wheel drive cars, you take out the axle and take it to a machine shop to do this.

too bad, nararanasan ko rin to currently. hay.

Grrr

san shop ba magaling pag dating sa gantong problema???
at magkano usually labor sa inspection at pag-gawa?
(hay, gastos nanaman...)

Sa trusted mong mechanics ok na yan. At least labor cost nian is P120 to P150 per gulong. Pag yun ang charge sayo or lower than that ok na labor cost mo. Di ka talo sa ganung presyo.

i had my front wheel hub bearing (left only) replaced. old bearing was pressed out and the new one was pressed in. so i was confident na ok ang trabaho (walang pukpok). But the same noise is still there. ibabalik ko sa pinagpawaan ko la lang time pa... balanced naman tires ko and aligned naman kasi i tried to cruise the car at nlex 120-140kph di naman nag wiwiggle. and wala rin namang kabig? but from your experiences what could be causing the annoying sound? thanks!

Try to check also ur tranny baka dun nanggagaling yung noise.
