    di naman siguro sa fuel, paano naman nasabing marumi ang fuel natin compare sa ibang bansa, dapat lahat tayo bagsak sa emission test kung ganoon, ako bumaksak na rin minsan sa emission test pero ngayon hindi na ang ginagawa ko lang bago pa emission test , tuneup change spark plug and adjustment ng valve clearance, change oil, change air filter, ayon parati nang pasado.

    Baka kailangan lang ng tune up kaya bagsak sa CO... baa restricted/clogged na yung air filter, or fould na yung spark plugs.... :?

    I had an engine swap last march, yung spark plugs ang oil ko yun pa rin mula nung pinalatan during the engine swap, when I had my emissions testing last June, CO=0.01% (limit 4.5%), HC=4ppm (limit 800ppm)....

    guys sa me problema sa usok or bagsak sa emission test (gas or diesel) try our decarbonization (carbon cleaning).

    it will remove all the carbon deposit from intake valve, combustion chamber, sparkplug and catalytic converter. the procedure will just take 30min - one hour.

    90% of black smoke will be removed, original horsepower will be recovered, fuel consumption will decreased.

    pwedeng pwede... wala naman po kasi sa visible na usok yun... depende sa gaseous composition yun ng emission....

    basta dun ka sa likod ng lto magpa-emission test.
    sila may-ari rin ng testing center.

    yong 200 petot na palusot na alala ko tuloy first time ko pa nag pa emission test at nag ka auto kc student din ako.. nag tip din ako non.. hehehe..

    btw, although wala akong problema dyan curious lang ako...ano bang standard ang emission sinusunod ng pinas? meron ba tayong sariling pagaaral dyan?

    ano ang mga batayan ng LTO...europe has it own standard...states in the US have their own...california being i guess the toughest.

    For gasoline engines (spark ignition engines):
    Carbon Monoxide (CO) percentage and HydroCarbon (HC) content...

    1st registration of vehicle: (maximum readings)
    < Jan 1997 = 4.5% CO; 800ppm HC
    >= Jan 1997 < Jan 2003 = 3.5% CO; 600ppm HC

    For Diesel Engines (compression ignition engines):
    Opacimeter result limit (max) 2.5K

    Sana namemesure din pati NOx, which is as actually as harmfull as CO and HC....
