    Is buying a surplus radiator advisable? matapos lang prob ko sa radiator... every morning and afternoon kasi sangkatutak nilalagay ko na tubig.

    And dun sa overheating lets assume radiator is defective in terms of sucking lots of water yun lang. is there any possibility that since nagalaw yung ignition coil and nagcrack na yung "O-Ring", kaya sya nag overheat ng 1 last january and yung 2nd nito lang april?

    hirap ng tanga sa makina hehehe

    Radiators don't suck water. If a car is functioning properly, you won't have to replace it, as it's a closed system. Therefore, if you have to keep refilling it, this indicates that you have a leak. Since you also seem to have an oil leak, and issues with overheating, it's likely that your engine block is fractured.

    It could be that your radiator is cracked, and there's some sort of leak in the oil (two separate problems), but that's rather unlikely to happen together.

    I recommend you top up the fluids, park the car overnight, and check in the morning for puddles. If you have one puddle, you might have one giant engine issue. If there are two (one water, and one oil), then you have two smaller problems.

    check mo cylinder head gasket by openning you radiator cap while the engine is running and see if the coolant (water) forms bubbles, it means may leak sa water gallery holes to the compression chamber or WG to oil gallery holes.. madalas pag overheat yun C H gasket ang bumibigay. yup, it's the ignition coil. malamang mainit pa makina nun carwash kaya mapasma ito...hehe. sana di nag warp yun cylinderhead mo dahil sa overheat kundi mag papalit ka nito.

    Leak from the distributor stops after changing the O-ring.

    BTW do you guys know any authorized dealer or distributor(Toyota) who sells parts for "engines "water pump" theres one kc in the merchant in the internet who sells it for about $70.42 around P3,000 to P3,600 here. pero d ko lam where to get one here in the metro.

    bro, there are a lot of auto supply stores selling toyota spare parts but don't just buy from any store. and hindi naman lahat ng parts kailangan original (otherwise sa casa ka bumili para sure oem). water pump? may replacement yan. we have fellow tsikoteers who have auto supply stores (i.e. G&S of glenster). PM mo lang sila or search some thread for details.

    I advise that you get an original GMB Japan water pump. It cost less than half than that of the original part and works and last as long as the original part.

    My thoughts exactly.

    When having an engine wash usually pinapalamig muna yan dahil mainit pa makina. These days aluminum heads can easily warp.

    Like mentioned have a compression test done. I do not know the actual figures for your car but somebody else might. See also if the water/coolant in your radiator is milky/viscous/malapot. Kung muddy yung itsura, baka nagmix na yung oil and water/coolant.

    Somebody asked about exhaust color dahil:

    Black - overfueling
    Blue - burning oil
    White - condensation or burning coolant/water (due to it mixing like mentioned above)
