    To the Opel guys:
What is the normal operating temperature of your engine?
    1) middle 90
    2) 90 above but does not exceed 100
    3) 90 below up to 85?

It is weird but when I got my car, it used to run 85 to 87 on the average. It never hit 90. Now after about 2 years, umaabot na sa 90 to 95 on the average but never above 100. Hmmmm............

I really hate that Catalytic Converter and those emission sensors since it messes up everything in the car. Pag nasira, sobrang mahal. It also causes a the check engine light to light up.

My experience with my Vectra is a little over the 90 mark when outside temp is 38 degrees and traffic. As per its first owner, they had the cooling fixed sa casa. I think a sensor was replaced.

It's the real thing. The Offset of the Brabus is actually ok for the 5 holes of the Zafira. It is not permanent though. I just tried it on as to how a bigger wheel would look on the car.

I am on the lookout for a 5 hole irmsher 16" from a Vectra or if I am lucky, a real 17" from the Zafira OPC

He did, visited him Thursday last night and he was ready to leave na. I guess he's there na by now. Good luck to him. :D

Guys, may alam pa ba kayong nagbbenta ng Opel parts aside from Thunder and GM?

We're really having trouble maintaining our Opel Corsa especially now that Elerick left. I'm planning to sell it soon or if ever baka bumili nalang kami ng new car or something..

May alam rin kayong mga other shops/semi-casa types na kaya magayos ng Opel?

As far as I know, there are 2 auto parts shops that sell Opel parts. Thunder (Manila & Araneta ave.) and Fronte (Banawe). For repair, I personally trust Autotecknika. Maybe Speedyfix can also do Opels.

The parts shops listed are the only places that I know of too that sell OPEL parts.

As for repairs, For mechanical repairs and common maintenance parts replacement, I bring it to my neighborhood MERCEDES-BENZ or BMW repairshop. They are quite familiar with the German design of the OPEL which share common parts and designs from MBs. OBDIIs for the computer is also very simple and can be diagnosed using a laptop.

Those home service jobs can really be expensive too. Iba na yung nasa talyer ginawa yung kotse since they have tools etc..

I forgot to add, Autotecknika also services BMWs, US and other European cars. I even saw them servicing a Porsche 911.

The Autotecknika I know of is in Fairview QC. Along Commonwealth ave, Fairview proper. Just after Metrobank. But they also have other branches I believe.

Another branch of autotechnica is in libis. It is just before eastwood and delodur/European Motors.

BTW, has anyone ever tried going to that shop? Di ba mahal doon???

Do they have OBDII for the OPEL? and if ever, how much do they charge for computer diagnosis?? I hope it is much cheaper than GM autoworld.

    Thanks.

As per my experience with Autotechnica in Fairview, they don't have a computer to diagnose Opels. However they advised me to have the diagnosis done at the casa, get the details of the mechanical work then they can do it. They only have computer diagnosis for GMC, BMW and the like.

Labor charges for mechanical works are relatively affordable.

    Thanks veccy.
Puntahan ko nga yung shop pag wala nang gulo and traffic dyan sa congress. Hirap magpunta sa fairview, sobrang traffic.
