mahal naman ng LBC the reasom why i am asking is so that if i find out what bank in the USA has a partner bank here in the Philippines that give the cheapest TT rates, then i can open an account with the Philippine Bank so that when i get to the states, bank to bank TT na lang at the cheapest rate.
just checked the website of PNB, kung dollar to peso credit at a PNB account, $9. di rin pala nagkalayo. check ko lang sa RCBC, Metrobank and Security Bank websites.
edit: just checked sa metrobank, kung dollar to peso metrobank account, for a value of 1000 dollars, nasa $4.50 lang ang charge.
kung dollar to dollar naman, for $1000, nasa

Bank of America. Although I have heard horror stories, never have I experienced it myself. Easy access to ATMs, but they will charge you a fee if you cant maintain $700 on your checking.
Federal Credit Union. No minimum balance required, but ATM locations are scarce. Good for loans, secured credit card etc.
I have both because each banking has its own pros and cons. Kaya kung pareho kang meron, you can take advantage their features.
once you get here and you have a tourist visa and hindi ka na uuwi sa pinas that's when you become a TNT... Lucky oo nga just let us know. sa sunday may EB kami ulit. ngayon meron kami mini EB ako si silver and si C0zee
