That's not a carb:
Clearly EFI (check out the fuel injectors by the cylinder head in the pic)
The black box with the gray connector on the left side of the throttle in the pic is the MAF housing. The small round port inside the throttle body is where the MAF wire is. The individual black connectors (four in all) by the cylinder head are for the fuel injectors.
The purplish looking one might be for vacuum... the brown connector above the gray one might just be the TPS, but without seeing it in person, I can't say that I'm 100% sure. This is one of those things where you'll have to consult a mechanic familiar with these engines to find out... or at least try to find the workshop manual.

EFI na po ang Sentra EX (GA14DNE). I used to own one for 9 years until I sold it in 1997.
Re: idling screw, to my recollection, nasa ilalim siya ng of a certain part (can't remember kung TB or the MAF). Its a black thingy and located on the left side when facing the engine. Tinuro lang din sa akin ng Shell mechanic (Pook Ligaya station).

The perks of owning a rare engine... ...sorry... I feel for ya, bro... ganyan din ang feeling ko sa 626 dati.
Consider... at least mas simple siya compared to the regular GA16DE... mas konti ang vacuum hoses and connections, so it's easier to diagnose problems when you're familiar with the engine, already.
And it allows you to put on bigger and better intake tubes...
