btw, ano nga ba use nung air cabin filter? nakalagay lang kasi yun sa ken pero not sure what it does. moreover how to tell if it's working or if it needs to be cleaned/replaced...

Hello, Bago lang ako dito sa Nissan Cars talk thread. Meron lang akong tanong. Am planning to buy a used Nissan Sentra GS 2004, 47T kms na sya. Pangpalit sa Honda SUV ko. Kumusta ang reliability nito? Fuel Consumption? Acceleration?Any concerns I should check on? Any inputs that would help me decide is greatly appreciated. How much would be the price for this model. Used car dealer quoting P360T negotiable pa raw. Thanks in advance.

Yung air cabin filter, is used to clean up the air pollutants inside your car while using the AC. If you smoke or maalikabok inside your car, the filter cleans up the air inside your car before you breathe them, esp. kung naka set recirculate. You should always check your air cabin filter every oil change to maintain maximum effciency of your aircon - kung kailangan palitan. (Tipid Tip: I bought a new one and removed the dirty filter and washed and leaved it dry - dont brush or pressure wash. Kapag marumi na yung bago, salpak yung hinugasan ko na luma.)

acceleration alittle slow. compared to vios 1.6 at. that i have tested. i think because it has a heavy body.

bring a trusted mechanic or someone that has knowledge on AT. magastos pagmay sira ito.

Thanks for your advice. I drive AT for 20 years and familiar with its quirks. Question is: Would you recommend it?

i suggest that you test drive it. i own a 2005 GS but if given a chance, i would bought the 2003 altis 1.8 instead.

i bought mine for some reasons:

it was cheaper compared to its rival with the same year. mine is 2001 and bought for 200k+ whereas the civic/altis is around 300k+. full options pa.

kaya lang, if your planning to sell soon, hmm.. civic/altis na ko..

another thing is, nissan is still using timing chain, less expense and worry.

i believe all cars are made dependable. nasa gumagamit na lang.

yep i agree. nasa gumagamit lang. I have my 2005 GX and i'm satisfied with it. yun nga lang, wala masyadong hatak, but cruising at high speed, wala namang problema. I never encountered a major problem with my car. maganda pa pag binihisan yang N16 gen 2

yung compressor ko me tumutunog lang pag nag automatic na sya, di ba pag nag automatic me madidinig ka lang isang click, sa kanya parang medyo isang click tapos parang me sinasayadan pa, pero saglit din lang

san ko po ba pede patingnan,, gusto kasi sa casa palitan agad compressor
