    Hi good day!

I just bought a 2018 nissan navara el calibre AT. First automatic car to own since ibang kotse namin is manual. First i notice sa second day of using the car is 25liter per 100km ang nsa gauge! Avg is 26.

Or is it because im just ignorant kasi it's my first automatic car driven. Strange po kasi. Ang lakas mgrev tsaka nakakaconcern ung fuel econ.

    Metro Manila traffic?

Are you on "D" drive? Or "S"

25L/100 is high but you might have been idling somewhere? What is the average speed? 5kph?

Im driving on D. 30 to 50kph. Not in traffic. Ang lakas na ng apak ko sa gas tas nagrerev ng mataas bago nagchachange gear. Ganun ba un? Yes 25 is so high. Punta ako later sa nissan to inquire tho.

Yes ang laki ng FC mo, 4K per L, daig mo pa LC200. Maybe your running in a very low tire pressure. Wala bang squeak coming from the wheel, baka may naka stuck pads mo.

as walter says, reset your gauge, po.
you might be reading the sum total of the vehicle's entire fuel use history, from the time it idled in the factory.

Updates include reduced steering ratio and dual rate springs to maintain the ride quality even with heavy loads. Buyers should ask if the 2018 version already has the same updates in the Australian market. The dual rate springs can be easily seen but the tweaked steering calls for a test drive.

No, not my first diesel car but my first automatic car. Yes ill try to reset the meter. Coming from former manual driver, nagdridrive talaga ako ngcomfy way. Konting apak lang pag nasa first gear then change agad to second gear. I dont want to hear the engine rev high kasi prang nahihirapan para sakin. As to this navara, parang nahihirapan sya. Soft or hard press sa accelerator ngrerev ng mataas bago mgvhachange gear at 2k rpm. Is that normal? I can hear the engine make noise at ngrerev. Parang nahihirapan at prang ang hina ng hatak. Is that normal? Or im just ignorant since i have no experience sa automatic. Parang hindi kasi comfy driving.

Revving good for the engine, clears out to the carbon deposits ... 2000 rpm is still low ... 4000-5000 would be high rpm in a diesel ...

I agree, this is what I do from time to time. Think of it as an exercise of your engine. Just be sure that before doing so, you already hit the ideal operating engine temp and give your turbo time to cool down brfore turning off.
