Bug Deflector / Hood Shield un tawag dun. Imbes na sa windshield mo tumama un mga insecto & other debris, dinedeflect ng Hood shield ung mga un papuntang roof ng sasakyan. 2K yata bili ko dun, EGR un brand. Sa GINZA Banawe ko binili. Ikot ka lang Banawe, dami nag-titinda ng bug deflector & window visors dun.

Regarding dun sa sound na parang bakal sa bakal pag-kinabig, have your bushings check. Sigurado sira na un bushing mo. Kapapalit ko lang a month ago, medyo mabilis nga masira. Pati un sa rear bushing ko kailangan na din palitan.

Meron ako Frontier 4x4 bought last july lang. same problem before sa frontier 4x4 namin bought last 2003.

pag umandar ang aircon yung auxiliary fan di umaandar. kahit na mainit na yung makina, then nag travel ako ng 30kms, tapos nung tiningnan ko di pa rin umaandar. di ba dapat pag mainit na ang aircon sabay andar ang auxialliary fan niya. need help lang

dati kasi pinalitan ng parang switch niya(yung 5 gangs daw) yung unang frontier namin. ewan ko kung ano ang tawag dun. pero sabi ng electrician repairable naman daw

aircon switch rin diagnosis ng electrician ko.

so ngayon ginawa nung electrician since ayaw umandar ang a/c sa 1 & 2 fan speed, kailangan ilagay sa 3 para sumindi ang a/c.

so far gumagana sya, cheap alternative kaysa sa palitan ang buong fan a/c switch thingy

Lemon, I buy my Philips bulbs from one of those car shops in Malugay St (can't remember the name now); meron din sa Hans Tools Shangri-la. On the fog lights, i'm using those Hella lamps but i'm not too happy with the beam dispersal so i'll be switching to Bosch lamps later on (nasira na rin yung connection ng isa due to moisture). On the switch, i got it from Banawe at surplus shop, fits directly on the switch holes below the mirror switches. You just have to sort through the baskets of switches sa mga surplus shop and look for one with the perfect fit.

Larshell, mas maingay yung may filter as compared with that on a gas engine. It's also partly due to the tube design (just one big tube with no resonance).

Jappy, i tried it already on my Frontier before but i have removed it already and sold the filter since i didnt like the noise.

DOes the sound pag kabig come from the front during a full turn? Especially when you're going up a curb? Check the stopper bushing (its a small plastic cap right behind the wheel/suspension when doing a full lock turn).Other usual culprits would be the rear leafspring bushings or the molye (adding lubricant helps).

I've changed mine twice, the first one was with a replacement and it didnt last long. I put in original and so far so good for over a year na (i dunno if my larger tires have anything to do with it).

The free-flowing filter can help improve the power; economy, it depends still on the driving style but it can help in some cases. I'm happy with the stock though, just have to clean it every 5,000kms and replace every 20,000kms (malaking bagay sa diesel and malinis na filter).

Vinj, madali ba makahanap sa mga auto supply ng bosch na foglights? Sir pagnakabili na kayo Bosch, kunin ko din un store na pinagbilan nyo. Pag-nagpalit ba ako ng Philips bulbs, kailangan ko din mag-upgrade ng wiring?

Another Q, gaano kaingay ba un makina pag nag-conetype airfilter? Parang tunog jeepney ba?

hi guys , just new here. here's my pickup dunnu if I can paste it sucessfully want to share my frontier experience. learn some tips and advice too hehe.. for a start mine is 2003 model sienna red 4x4 replaced the OEM wheels with 17" tire R17/265/60 want to know what's the km/liter of other units mine is 9km/L city and 10.5km/liter hi-way with slight traffic. thnx....

i have a 1999 3.2 automatic nissan frontier.

*lemon:regarding sa air filter ko,yup mjo maingay cya sa una,
pero i got used to it.and most of the people that have heard my
truck running always asks me kung gasoline dw engine ko.
i dunno,pero i like the sound better,plus macho lalo ung 2nog.

on the economy side,2mipid cya sa consumption.well,at least for me,
i used to get 6.5-7 km/ltr diesel,pero now, i can get as much as 8.5km/ltr
automatic kc e...

so same tube ang pwde gamitin para sa qd32 at td27 na engine? yung sa civic na mentioned earlier pwde na for both engine variants ng frontier.
1,700 lang sa Blades nagtanong ako, both tubing and filter. sulit ba ito?

kung binili ko yun, may ibang parts pa ba akong kailangan bilhin para mafit ko ng maayos?

hoping ako na tumipid ng konti consumption ko. hindi naman ako heavy footed. naka 3.2 a/t kasi ako kaya medyo mataas consumption.

yung flares are the same size as of the titanium minus the lubog/bolts on the side.

doclloyd, may questiona ako.

i also had my frontier fitted with the same conefilter setup (qd32) as pictured in the early replies within the thread. i already ran around 100kms and im not sure if its just me being paranoid or did my pickup lost some power in the 0-60km/hr speed range but got a little more power for the 60+km/hr? ganun ba tlga yun? ano initial feel mo sa frontier mo after the installation?

meron din maingay na bakal to bakal na sound ung pickup dati. bushing nga din ung pinaltan. yung sa amin naman pag full turn right lang.
ngayon oks na.

yung maingay na tumatama na bolt na may cover na plastic (stopper bolt sa pagliko)...ang solusyon ko dyan eh...ALISIN KO NGA....

now I don't have to worry about the ingay and replacement na napakamahal (tig P190 or 290 yata isa nun sa CASA)...ang side effect lang nag-ra-rub ang isang gulong ko when i do a full turn kasi malaki yung gulong ng elite...pero dun sa standard walang effect...gumanda pa turn radius nito.

naku mga peeps I just had a go from my boss...isa-swap ko na yun frontier ko dun sa dmax namin na spare...huhuhu...di nako makaka istambay sa frontier group (OA ba?! )

baka alam nyo na (pero para na lang ito sa mga hindi familiar)...yun standard na fronty can be adjusted pa ang height by an inch through the T-bar adjustment para tumaas ng kaunti sa harap...yung likod bili ka ng new shackles na mahaba ng 1.5" ang space ng butas. COST OF LIFTING THIS WAY P300-1500 - price ng new shackles and labor for Tbar adjusment

(medium budget style)
BODY LIFT option...spacers na 1 to 2 inches lang para walang major changes. Above 2 inches medyo marami ng babaguhin ng mountings and bibili ka nang bagong hose (brake and fuel)...P7,000 to 10,000.

(high budget style)
CALMINI brand have a lifting kit - A-arms sa 4x2 pero around P30,000 yata ang aabutin to order sa internet and ship it here (parang US$250 yung A-arm). Labor sa replacement siguro aabutin ng P3,000.

Sino alam nyo na gumagawa ng look-alike ng fender flares ng 4x4/titanium na mura lang? Mahal sa CASA halos P25k or P35k yung binangit sa akin dati.
