hey bro, i just bought my wife exalta a week ago, maybe you can use mine as price comparison. I bought it with the price of 175k php 2001 model, here are the specs:

Model: 2001 Exalta Grandeur GS
Odo: 107,000
Rims: Concept one Racing Hart 17" with semi low profile federal tires 70%
Steering Wheel: Momo wood concept steering wheel
Exhaust: Burned tip exhaust (forgot the brand - full exhaust not just clip-on adapter)
Pioneer MP3 Player
Amber color signal lights
Seat Cover (Beige)
Rest are all stock
All controllers and buttons are working fine.

As per my experience mejo mabagal talaga arangkada ng grandeur from 1st to 2nd gear. I think this is due to the heavy body of the car. Pero since bago sayo yung car, try mo na din pa tune up and see kung mag iimprove.

*RJMARI, dapat meron ka backup unit just in case. When i was buying that car, 200k ang asking price because of the light mods. Pero 4 na mgkakaibang unit ang tinitignan ko. So I inform the seller na meron pa ako iba tinitignan which offers same or lower price sa "tawad" ko. Napag usapan naman namin.

May minor probs lang un unit,, 1st is antenna- base sa past post mura lang ang pagawa sa banawe kaya oks lang.
2nd is yung odometer display is somewhat fading pero pag diniinan daw eh ok naman, medyo ndi ko alam if magkano ang pa repair nito?

Sa mga SIR natin dito. Pa advise naman po about sa odometer display prob,kung minor lang ba ang gastos or malaki ? balak ko na kasi ipasabay na lang sa pagpapagawa ng antenna. Thanks & GB...

New lng ako d2 sa forum and new user din ako ng Nissan Exalta 2001 STA kabibili ko lng second hand in a reasonable price all power are workin exept sa Skyroof nya ayaw mg open but the motor is workin nman. Mga Sir, San meron nabibiling skyroof assembly. Pina check ko sa banawe di n daw nila maayos un, ngstock n daw.

Mga sir Patulong po. Nagpaoverhaul ako ng engine, rebore at palit ng mga rings, d nmin gnalaw yung sa taas yung 16valves. Mganda andar at tumipid nmn s gas pero mron p din tappets noise at bluish smoke pang high speed, tama po b n iparebore daw yung mga valves at plitan mga valve guides, mlaki n kc gastos kya gsto ko mkasigurado n yun ang tamang gawin. Mga sir. San po ba ako makakabili ng orig na steering wheel ng exalta sta? Problema ko kasi ung busina ko nadidiinan pag knkabig ung manibela. Busina tuloy ng busina. Mapapaaway pa ako sa kalye. So ang solusyon e binunot nalang yung 2 na busina. So mga 6months na ata ako walang busina. Hehe. D sya advisable kaya gusto ko na rin solusyunan. Salamat po.

Habol ko na rin. Emblems din. Wala na kase ung exalta emblem at sta emblem. Pati na rin center panel. Biyak na ung sakin. San kaya ako mkkakuha nun ng reasonable price? Or may nagssbe skn ipasadya ko daw ng carbon fiber?

Kung yung orig na steering wheel with airbag I think sa casa lang siguro makakakuha. If you want a cheaper one mdami naman aftermarket steering wheel like momo.

Hi sir! Thanks for the reply. Actually I first thought of replacing my orig steering wheel with momo or any other racing inspired steering wheels. Naisip ko lang baka hindi po bagay? Kasi dahil sa classy look ng exalta. Ang ganda kc nung original with it's wooden finish and leathery touch. Bagay na bagay sa interior. Gusto ko lang po malaman sa mga ibang exalta owners like you what's your input regarding exalta with racing inspired steering wheels.

Wala po ba replica nung orig na steerign wheel ng exalta? Pano po pala yung mga for parts out? D na po ba gagana ung airbag nun pag nilipat sakin?

Para sakin mas bagay talaga yung original na steering wheel to match the interior. Pero meron ako mga nakikita na exalta with aftermarket na steering wheel. Your best option sir is to look for surplus parts. As for the airbag, di ko lang sure kung gagana after ilipat even if the airbag light does not indicate a warning.

Mga sir, tanong lang po. Nun nabili ko kasi yun exalta grandeur 01 namin, meron na siya hiwalay na security alarm dahil nasira na daw yun alarm na built in sa ignition key. So far wala naman ako problema sa new alarm, all working ang functionality.

Ang issue lang po, yun built in sa kotse (red LED) sa dash board eh continuously na nag bblink. Baka kasi nakaka diskarga ng baterya. Meron po ba way para ma-disable yun or kung sino ang may same experience, care to share naman po. Thanks in advance.

Update ko lang po kayo sa problem ng jerking or shift shock problem ko. dami ko na po napagtanungan problem daw talaga e yung transmission.
mas napili ko bumili na lang ng surplus kaysa sa overhaul, mga 17k lahat nagastos kasama kabit at labor and problem walang nagbago sa shifting, may shock pa din.
dami ng tsineck yun pala ang problem ay kailangan lang iadjust ang TPS "Throttle Position Sensor".

so sa may mga problem po ng shock shift bago magpalit or overhaul check, ATF, clog lines ng ATF fluid from radiator at TPS.
yun good bye sa 17k kung magaling sana yung mekaniko 1k lng sana nagastos ko. well at least may natutunan ako, mahal nga lang yung lesson..

does the engine crank?
are there some fuel ignitions but do not catch on?
is it as if someone stole the battery?

usual suspects include the starter solenoid, the ignition switch, the smaller relay the ignition switch might be connected to, the battery connectors that might be loose.. the ignition hi tension circuitry, the hi tension cables, and others..

Sir D. salamat po sa reply. Yes may engine cracking at some fuel ignitions. Inoobserve ko po these past few days okay naman po. Di pa ulit sya nagstall.

Meron din akong naririnig na parang maingay nung umaandar pero after 10-15min na tumatakbo sya nawawala naman. Dinala ko sa mechanic nawala e. sabi nila possible lang daw na sa bearing adjuster baka kinalawang at matagal din kasi syang di nagamit. Mga 6-7months.

Sir tanong ko lang din po ung ATF po ba tuwing kelan po ang palit niya? gaya po ng car ilang months rin po di nagamit. Need ko narin po ba sya palitan? Last palit ko po last year lang din. Thanks

Sir kung nag crank yung engine then namamatay possible na problem is sa fuel line. Bka madumi filter or di nag ppump ng tama yung fuel pump.

Dun sa ATF kung last year lang pwede pa yan. Maybe 2 to 3 years siguro bago magpalit or 40k KM
