Hi mga sir,

Just today, nagdiskarga yung baterya ko. bigla nalang namatay papasok na ako ng c3. nag-ilaw battery indicator then namatay na sya. Last time pinacheck namin sa Battery distributor sabi nila malakas pa ung battery mga 60%. Possible kaya sir na alternator ang problema? inadvisan kasi kami na pacheck muna un alternator bago bumili ng brand new battery.

hi mga boss..pansin ko po kanina..biglang may narinig akong annoying sound sa may makina habang nagdridrive ako..pag nag slowdown ako tas biglang aapakan ko yung accelerator biglang may tutunog ng "klok"klok"klock"....tinanong ko yung tito ko sabi nia na bearing daw ung alternator...tama po ba kaya yung cnb nia mga boss?if sakaling un nga ung tama pwede bang ung bearing lang palitan?at san mganda mgpa ayos?cubao lng po ako..tnx po..pahelp lng po...godbless

Yung sound is kapag umaandar lang ba sasakyan or kahit naka neutral tapos nag rerev. Kung sa alternator kasi dapat madidinig mo din kahit nag rerev lang. Kung pag umaandar lang yung tunog baka wheel bearing naman siguro

Mga sir any idea how much yung alternator na surplus? para naman di ako magoyo pag pumunta ng banawe hehehe.

So mukang di yan sa alternator sir. Kasi connected yun sa panbelt so dapat tutunog din sya kahit di umaandar. Pa check mo sir wheel bearing saka suspension.

Mga sir anu kaya problem if ayaw magshift from 1st to 2nd? kahit ibalik sa P or N then D ayaw parin. Pero nung nirestart ko sasakyan nag OK sya until now. Nagpalit na ako ng ATF saka linis ng filter. Nag Reset ako ng ECU kagabi so far ngayon umaga di sumumpong, ngyayari sya lagi pagpauwi sa gabi.

Nagbabalak po kami bumili ng 2nd hand na exalta grandeur GS 2002 model. Na tsek na ang unit ng kapatid ko at na test drive na din , pasado naman daw? ask ko lang po mga sir if ok na ba un 175k na last price nya? Pls advise and TIA...

I pa check mo na muna iyong alternator mo makikita naman nila kung kumakarga pa . sandali lang kasing ubusin ang charge ng battery mo pag sira ang alternator mo ihihinto ka na lang bigla at mamamatay ang makina.

it's easy to have the alternator and battery checked. for free, even!
any decent battery shop can do that in a few minutes, without even removing the battery from the car.

if your alternator is ok, your car will keep on running indefinitely, even with dead battery.. dead batteries do not just cause your car to die like that.
i suspect that it is really your alternator that is in need of fixin'.
btw, how old is that battery of yours?

I pa check mo na muna iyong alternator mo makikita naman nila kung kumakarga pa . sandali lang kasing ubusin ang charge ng battery mo pag sira ang alternator mo ihihinto ka na lang bigla at mamamatay ang makina.

it's easy to have the alternator and battery checked. for free, even!
any decent battery shop can do that in a few minutes, without even removing the battery from the car.

if your alternator is ok, your car will keep on running indefinitely, even with dead battery.. dead batteries do not just cause your car to die like that.
i suspect that it is really your alternator that is in need of fixin'.

Tama Dr. D. Alternator nga daw ang problema. Bumili na ako ng surplus and okay na car.

yung battery ko Amaron. bought last Nov 2012. so lampas na sya ng 21 months warranty pero nung pinacheck ko sa battery shop papalitan ko na sana e. Nung chineck ung battery malakas pa daw. Baka mga 1-2 years pa daw yun so di ko na napapalitan. Grabe yung Amaron! i heard sa India 5 years ang warranty niya e.

Btw mga sir, Ok lang ba magpakarga ng 97 extreme ng seaoil or Euro IV gasoline 95 ng unioil. Im currently using 95 xcs ng petron but i want to try new naman. hehe sorry po newbie lang. :D

Hi friends and exalta experts,

I am in need of your experience. I have a Exalta 2001 STA AT in Green. The mileage is 168k.

I can hear this noise coming from the back seat left side (behind the driver). It sounds like I am driving over rumble strip (yung parang mini humps on SLEX). The sound only last for 2 - 3 seconds. I noticed only happens after releasing gas and going at slow speed. I recently had the front two bushings changed and I replaced the ATF hose and all fluids in the car.

My research tells me it could be worn out CV joint, broken wheel bearing or the car might need wheel alignment.

Any suggestions? I brought car to my mechanic and he did not notice any thing wrong.

you have to bring it to a mabusising mekaniko.
the cv joint is out in front, so that's probably not it it.
the wheel bearings are a possibility. you'll have to inspect each wheel... lift the corner and spin the wheel. if you have an assistant, have him step on the brakes as each wheel is spun, and listen for (expensive) sounds..
for the suspension.. you may have to do some super sleuthing under that car.. perhaps it would be better if you have it lifted up a gas station,so's you can have a better look at the unders. shake them vigorously and see if they make loose movements..
try also the brakes. they might be sticking.
have fun.

another possibility would be the driver's seat. maybe it is not so well-anchored..

yung sa akin kasi
no AC - 900rpm
with AC - 1000rpm
normal idle po ba ito? di kaya parang mataas sya?
