Do we have enough EV stations already in the country?
Looks like we still do not have the infrastructure to support EVs or am I wrong?![]()
Yep. Kung metro driving lang siguro you are probably safer.
Going out of town will be more of a challenge. Without the infrastructure, you will need to plan your trips very well and ensure that you can recharge your batteries.
Problema din if you will have a breakdown in the province.
Hopefully, the infrastructure will catch up, and soon.
CMIIW, with an SRP of around P2.8M, it'll take forever to reach the ROI breakeven point. And with Nissan's notoriety of having unreliable undercarriage, you'll probably not reach that point at all.
a car magazine cited 1.8 - 2M probable pricing, also the the A in LEAF stands for Affordable![]()
This unit has an official price tag of 2.8m.
A very pricy one but I get it, its made in japan so the TRAIN Tax law didn't help much in lowering the price of this car?
Still disappointed on the pricing done by Nissan Phils for this unit.
At least it was forgivable sana if they priced it at 2.4mish.
If only the Twizy had AC. I saw one on C5 a few nights ago and it was fast!
Mitsubishi PH had priced their PHEV way better than nissan PH did as the fanciest 40kwh UKDM leaf is about 667k pesos cheaper over there without incentives than the cheapest AEB equipped UKDM Outlander PHEV at a converted price of 2.737M which is not far from our 2.998M priced PHDM variant that also adds the LED headlamps and a sunroof.
How is the electricity cost computed?

Then there's the risk of Nissan going bankrupt in 2-3 years after the Ghosn fiasco ...

So parang Free fuel by Nissan PH?NPI will also be putting up charging stations at select Nissan dealerships; actually, Nissan says they will become the largest quick charging station network in the country.
This will be exclusive to Nissan Leaf owners and will be free of charge for the time being. This will serve as the company's way of providing on-road charging for its Leaf customers.
but i doubt that even with the free fuel(charge) it would offset the high price tag.
The past LEAFs have had horrible battery degradation compared to Tesla. Wonder if this has been addressed.
