January 21st, 2010 12:36 PM #33Personally, it looks better and sleeker without those humongous roof rails.
Any possible date of local release?
I hope Nissan will be able to somewhat match the pricing of the new Tucson so there will be an alternative choice in the entry level SUV category.

January 22nd, 2010 10:35 AM #34Pricing would not be an issue regarding the new Xtrail. Tucson is quite small in terms of body size when you compare it even with the existing xtrail. Plus it cant match the xtrails road performance im sure of it. should you have seen the xtrail during the SUV school of safety and what that car went through in terms of off road capability im pretty sure the tucson would be no match. Im seing the all new Xtrail to be of higher price though not as high a price than the CRV. Im expecting it to range from 1.1 for the entry to as high as 1.3 for the top line.
Here's the URL of that great off road activity during the SUV School of Safety Event.

January 22nd, 2010 06:01 PM #35Thanks sa mga advice sir.
The Tucson GL M/T (base model) was offered to us for PhP988,000 while the X-Trail 200 for PhP1,085,000.
Bukas pa lang namin makikita yung X-Trail. We've seen the Tucson pero GLS 4x2 model.
We're leaning on the X-Trail, mostly positive ang feedback. Excited na family ko
Thanks again!!
