Di naman mahal ang parts ng yamaha. It's a durable scooter and you can't go wrong with nouvo or Mio 3. I suggest that you get a new Nouvo Z or Mio 3 pero walang mio 3 sa Norkis. Nouvo Z lang meron ang price nya is around 72K while mio 3 is around 83k (gray market kase yan). They shared the same engine 115cc 4-stroke. Kayang mag top speed ng 100 km/h nyan in stock form. Ang pagkakaiba lang nila ay :

    NOUVO Z :
    - 16 inch ang tires
    - hindi flat ang flooring
    - mas malaki ito kesa mio

    MIO 3
    - 14 inch ang tires
    - flat flooring
    - mas maliit kesa nouvo

For endurance, No problem with both scoot and you can bring and drive this as far as you can. with an average fuel consumption of 40-45 kms per liter.

NOUVO Z is my personal choice.

    or nouvo Z nalang ako?

Batibay sir ang belt nyan, di yan basta-basta bumibigay for at least 10k kms siguro.

how hard it is? is having a background in bicycle driving helps in driving a scooter?

i used to be a mountain biker. and imho, driving a scooter is different from riding a bike.

as a would be 1st time MC driver, aside from getting a scooter, woul be an underbone with automatic clutch or with a hand clutch be easy enough for me to handle..

with an automatic clutch, i think it would be easy, but it would be different from something with a hand clutch.

would a 100cc scoot / underbone carry me around despite the fact i weigh as much as the scoot/underbone itself? or better yet i'll get a 125 or 150cc?

where would you use it bro? as much as possible, get the 150 cc na. halos pareho din naman ang costs, but you would appreciate the additional HP.

what can you suggest i'll get? parang maganda yung yama x1 or sniper...ok din ba ang raider? or just stick to the common wave and xrm nalang...

if you are getting this, magkano budget mo? i would suggest a vespa. very easy to handle and drive.

    salamats...
    see my replies above bro.

if you are a beginner bro, i would suggest that you get a lighter one muna which is very easy to drive. don't go the the sports type look first. kaya nga i suggested getting a vespa dahil upright ang driving position, tapos automatic clutch.

and don't forget about safety bro. wear your helmet, and if you can afford it, go for the body vests and knee/leg protectors.

when i made the transition from a mountain bike to a MC, i started muna sa maliliit until may nagkaroon na ako ng confidence.

from a Vespa 125 cc, i got a 400 cc GSX-R which i use in going to work occassionally. now i am thinking of selling my 400 cc to get a 1000 cc.

Yes, a bicycle backround is really a great help…. In my experience, pinara-rampa ko yung bmx ko or even without front wheel for several hundred meters nung teenager ako then binilan kami ng honda 50cc with auto clutch, kayang kaya, maninibago ka lang sa speed compared sa de pedal ika nga.
