It's one of the best I've read. Reality indeed
Except I just don't like this part, to quote:
"We are knights amongst men who cowards themselves in cages with four wheels who thought they're men but not! compared to the riders we are."
Otherwise, a very good piece indeed.
I want a bike too, a big one mga 300cc up, may isang obstacle lang, my wife...hehehe.
sad truth indeed.. napapa iling na lang ako kapag may nakita akong "rider" na may helmet sa siko....
The truth that someone lost his/her life for the sake of saving a peso of gasoline and time.
Kim,
Hindi kaya mid life crisis ito? hehehe...
Stay safe knights and always wear your armour, helmet and protective gears.
Riding a motorcycle gives the rider the freedom no one can ever explain coz it feels so damn good to explain.
Ecstacy. adrenalin are all pumped up every time we twist the throttle of our iron horses.
"Fear" deminishes from our souls, only pure excitement envelops us from within.
The pride and the feeling of respect from other riders as well.
The bike and the rider transform into one creature, a creature of speed and the harmony of man and machine.
The smile on our faces are always present.
We are knights amongst men who cowards themselves in cages with four wheels who thought they're men but not! compared to the riders we are.
To ride with our friends and group just simply shows how we "Love" the life we live in on two wheels.
The addiction of bikes are in our viens.
We sleep thinking about it, we wake up thinking about it.
We glance at them iron horses in our garages as if they were beautiful maidens.
No rider can ever deny that we are all consumed with our love for riding.
No one and nothing can ever take us away from our horses.
But... The Sad Truth...
More and more of our brothers are not aware of the previlage we all are granteed with.
Some riders disregard the laws and the freedom given to us, causing the innevitable down fall of our brotherhood.
They look at us now as if we're reckless renegade rebel of the roads.
Hated by almost every motorist plying the roads and stereo typed as lawless motorist who were granteed wheels for road use.
Un-educated fools tatering the real men in iron horses.
Like the battle fields of the old centuries we knights fall one by one because of the dangers the roads presents.
Death from accidents due to cages and riders as well.
Poor couples in bikes crippled by lawless fools surrounding our metropolis.
The un-ending statistics of reports from riders fataly killed or hurt everyday... just like the battle fields of the past.
We indeed are warriors, "Knights" who in the times of war and tormoil will still prevail.
"Love" for ride is what matters to us true Knights, the commaraderie and respect we give to all motorists will always be of utmost importance.
"I am a RIDER" I will show all these ignorant motorist what class of humanity a true Rider is, and maybe just maybe! we can all be great examples for all, that being disciplined will help make every ride pleasurable.
I call amongst all the true Knights...
lets help stop the "Sad Truth".
Sad truth - Tama na yan, mag deliver ka na ng pizza
what do you mean sir??Sad truth - Tama na yan, mag deliver ka na ng pizza
the machismo of the MC rider at work. holds true for those who owns harleys... hehehehe. pero kung underbone, mukhang katawa tawa.
i own a 600 cc GSXR, sa akin, wala naman akong nararamdaman. although masarap ang feeling ng riding against the wind blowing in your face that gives you that freedom, hindi naman sya applicable dahil dapat isara yung helmet visor eh....![]()
anu yan parang commercial ng rexona--ung may bigbike at UB hehehe
hehehe--mas naminiwalan sa free-dum riding most UB riders--no helmet, no protective gears, etc..just a slipper and shorts..hanap ko pic of what i mean...
baka matuklap naman mukha mo doing 150kph without the visor hehehe....
most harley naman diba you dont ride it as fast as a sportbike

What a stupid assumption."We are knights amongst men who cowards themselves in cages with four wheels who thought they're men but not! compared to the riders we are."
Most of the time, they are the cowards. Lalo na pag nakagasgas ng mamahaling sasakyan, tatakbuhan ka na lang esp in traffic. I know because maraming beses na ito nangyari sa akin at sa mga kakilala ko. You're just waiting for the stoplight to go green, suddenly, here comes a rider squeezing through even though it's pretty obvious his bike won't fit.
Di sila gumaya sa kaibigan ko na rider. That guy is very nice, kahit mayaman yun at KTM and Aprilia mga superbikes, the guy is very down to earth and you'll never get even a whiff of arrogance from him.

Gusto ko rin sana ng motor, pero maski bike di ako marunongTrue to mga papi. .
Anyways, if they are (MC riders) are knights, then what are we (cagers) called? Tank Commanders? nyehehehe :hysterical:
experience ko, at 80 to 90 kph, without helmets (tried it once, but i do not want to try it again), masakit sa balat yung tama ng hangin sa mukha. at 110 kph, you have to slightly close your eyes na dahil mahapdi na sa mata.
for harleys, yes. although they have powerful engines, most of them are driven at around 80-100 kph. even though they can easily reach around the 150-170 kph mark, mahirap i-control/i-handle dahil sa riding position.
that piece was indeed outstanding! but i think he's just over reacting...i myself has a motorcycle...but i don't trash talk people with cars....that's how they usually talk whenever they're in their respective forums....i bet he also has a car and he only rides during weekends...![]()
