I am done with motorbike when I became a father. Those who are calling themselves as knights in an enclosed armour, show your brilliance in the way you display your riding behavior… so in the end you’ll be truly admired.

Magkakasakit ako sa puso sa inyo whenever you appear on all sides.

    ooops... di ko nilalahat ha?

Ako ayos na sa Vespa. Retro rules!

Or kung may willing mag-donate sa akin ng BMW R1200 GS Adventure for educational purposes, mas ayos. :bwahaha:

"We are knights amongst men who cowards themselves in cages with four wheels who thought they're men but not! compared to the riders we are."
Maniniwala na sana ako sa kanilang "rider's creed", especially since nakakita na ako ng rider kanina na kumpleto ang gamit (helmet, side mirrors, turn signals), kaya lang may cheap shot pa rin eh.

    Best post? Sige na nga...

no protective gears, etc..just a slipper and shorts..hanap ko pic of what i mean..."

-cyempre helmet meron ako niyan, wag moko pipicturan ha baka i-post moko kasi madalas ako ganito pag malapit lang pinupuntahan ko hahaha..

dont worry--i mean yun nag sisingle/ride na naka-short-slippers lang, sando will be a plus....

---this is what they call "free-dum": exposed to the elements

and ang kinaiinisan ko din is or di ko maitindihan ang concept: yung more than 2 sila! (whole family rides a single wave-100!) madami sa daan yan....takaw aksidente..

at isa pang unfair sa law natin, sa kahit anung aksidente, we cagers always shoulder the responsibility, kahit kasalanan ng riders yung kinasapitan/aksidente nila...

they have the privilage of beating the red light and getting away with it, have the privilage of to break traffic rules and they get away with it.... they can counterflow 1 way streets, and they get away with it...

kaya tayong cages are forced to yield to them....kasi in the end tayo talo...kahit ba nakaheadon tayo ng nagcocounterflow na rider sa 1 way street..

sakin i thank god for having a bless trip everyday,,hope all of us,,
may mali din kasi sa dealers ng mga underbones masyado mababa ang
downpayment kaya lahat ng irresponsible/kolokoy/fake riders or kahit sino e kayang afford to..

ika nga nasa attitude yan nung tao kahit anong sasakyan pa dala niya
respect nalang sa bawat isa at peace be with all of us at sa lahat ng motorista,,amen!.... sating mga private lang mga puvs no comment nalang ako

dont mean to nitpick here but COWARD cannot be used as a verb, its actually a noun and can be used as an adjective.

the writer tries to be poetic, failing in some places and succeeding in some.

but i have to object to all this ROMANTICIZING of motorcyle riders and motorcycle riding. I myself was/am a rider and to me (and this is just me) riding is a personal thing. its a communion between man, machine, the road and the open air. i can also think of car driving the same way btw. so whats the big diff?

I am not one to scream this to the whole world. the more i keep it to myself, the better it is for my soul. the more i scream, the less value it has to me. its not an "im on two wheels and im cooler than you 4 wheel blokes" thing. for me its "im on the road, i feel good and i feel good about the world."

i, too, was (and will be, if wifey permits ) a rider. and though i agree that it's exciting and liberating, i don't recall being knighted by anyone. if i was, i'd be sir lunch-a-lot and frequent the local round table (pizza place).

i used to ride bikes myself(750GSXR) and never wore a helmet.is it safe?no.ill be the first one to admit its not safe but the freedom is unparalled.
dont get me wrong here....im not breaking any laws.chicago is one of the few states left that lets riders ride without helmets.
on the first warm day weekend of spring, youll see tons of motorcycles on the road.every year its just like that here cause of the long winter and bikess and riders hibernating.
whats funny to see in chicago tho is youll hardly see any bikes trying to squeeze in between cars(there are still morons out there but very few).
last november..i made a trip to los angeles and san francisco and noticed almost every single bikes there just squeeze in between cars during traffic.i actually got irritated with those riders for doing that and when i met up with my cousin that owns a modified R1(turbo)..he started boasting how he rides between cars too and when someone cuts him off.he would sometimes ride next to the car and just kick the side moror and take off.
i actually got pissed off from that remark and told him that if he wasnt my cousin,id gut him like a pig and feed his balls down his throat.
guess my point here is this...living in chicago with the freedom to not wear a helmet and being limited by the season as far as being able to ride bikes....riders in chicagoappreciate it more and try harder to keep it safe for everyone and not to encourage the state to change the law for helmet use.in return..they ride more respectively obeying the laws and respecting other motorist and vice versa.
its also because of this no helmet law that gets alot of riders to move to chicago.

Otherwise, a very good piece indeed.
I have to agree with you here. As both a motorcyclist and car enthusiast, I do not agree with the motorcyclist labeling car drivers as "cowards" and vice versa.

It just makes the motorcyclist who wrote it look kawawa and jealous as if he can't afford a car that's why he's riding.

this is somehow true, but some bikers think the way around that cagers are jealous as well.

I should know this because I'm a weekdays cager and weekend biker. But I don't agree of cagers being "cowards".

I like the "post" actually... it is like a poetry.
