    How to make your offraod bikes to a motard one???
    Few questions:
    ang balak kong set-up ng motot ko ay
    16" front then 18" likod??? O mas maganda 17"front 17"rear??? or 17"front18"rear???
    1.85 lng po yng rims wala ako mahanapan na 2.0 above.
    then meron din ako nakita na 16" na rim then ang nakalagay ay 120/80 what does tthis mean???

    Oh and another thing stock swing arm and Forks po yng motot ko na plan on changing those masyado na mahal..

    Then yng gusto ko lagay na gulong front 100/70or80 then likod 120/70or 80 pasok po kaya toh??

    Hindi kaya matag tag yan set-up na ganyan pag na lubak what I mean is gaganda kaya ang ride or mas papangit in terms of sa TAG-TAG???? thkz po in advance....

    Include na din ntin the Pros AND Cons of having a motard set-up.

    Dude... wala akong idea... pero gusto ko lang sabihin... trip ko yung Motard... great idea! Sabagay, di ka naman siguro mag-o-off-road palagi, diba?

    Di naman siguro magiging matagtag masyado kung stock suspension ka... mas pliant din naman ang rubber ng mga street rubbers versus off-road rubbers.

    Di kaya babagal masyado kung sobrang wide ang rears?

    Mukhang masarap gawin ang lahat ng mods! Pipes, arms, big brakes...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

    jasprit, pareho pala tayo ng bike. iniisip ko rin gawing supermotard yung sakin kasi nagagandahan nga ko sa mga supermotard sa europe. sikat dun pero dito satin wala pa kong nakikita. where did you get the pic of the motard? babantayan ko itong thread mo para malaman pano o magkano ma convert. hehehe. or balitaan mo ko kung mag post ka sa ibang motorcycle forums.

    by the way, anu ano na mods mo? ako stock pa rin up to now. like where did you get seat cover, how much, mufflers, how much din? etc. thanks!

    pare sori ngyun lng ako naka post ah.
    Here are my mods
    Yng seatcover nung binilo ko ganyan na-pwde ka bumili nyan sa mga u-bone shop tanong ka lng
    handlebar(renthal)-300 petot ako na nag kabit 100 singil nila mahal masyado
    Quick throtle- Bilihin mo yng mga posh wag yng daytona di pwde yun sa XR/XLR ntin. 500 petot
    Muffler(pang kotse di bagay yng mga maliit tsaka mas maganda tunong nito sa mga gumagawa ng muffler ng kootse meron nyan)=2000petot
    tsaka pina jetting ko sya=700 petot sandali lng wheelie ngayun hehehehe
    Tapos yng handle protector nakuha ko sa JN marikina=600 petot
    Oil cooler=600 petot
    LAht yan mga yan khit san meron ka mabibili yng proctor sa handle ang mahirap hanpin sa mga Underbone na shop meron nyan mga yan. Kaso ikaw mag kakabit ksi din nila kaya mag kabit di daw pwde eh yng skin pwde naman ako lng nag kabit lhat exept fot the muffler and jetiing.

    YAp di ako mag affroad ayaw ni erpat pero madami nag pipilit skin nna mag offroad hehehe.

    sa ngyun wala pa ako ginagaw ibang mods ksi ipapapayos pa yng motor ko post ko na lng d2 yng mga sunod ko na gagawin.
    Ito ang balak ko gawin
    Rear tire=120x80x18
    front tire=100x80x17(kuto ko ksi pangit na tingnan ang 16" kutob lng maganda sama knng may makita ako na 16" yng nakakabit sa hharap eh)

    jasprit, thanks for the info. would probably start with the muffler mods and jetting. malaki ba talaga ang difference in power from stock? medyo hirap pa ako sa wheelie di tulad pag 2 stroke. tapos nagpalit pako to street tires ala semi motard na medyo oversize kaya mabigat sa wheelie.

    Brod medyo malaki din difference ksi nag palit din ako ng bagong clucth. Baka yng sayu pudpod na yng clutch nyan kaya medyo hirap sya mag wheelie. Poalo nice bike sir baka meron ka mga piyesa na biebenta pm mo ako.

    pareho kami ni paollo, stock rims lang din gamit. kaya lang XR250 sa kanya, import. lufet, naka pro circuit pa na muffler. alam ko korena lang din yung tires ko. it's with my brother kasi ngayon, pinaayos ko throttle cable, kinalawang sa sobrang di ko nagamit. will try to send pics pag nakuha ko this week.

    Mga sir may nakita a akonng rims na 1.85 ang lapad png harap kukunin ko na 980petot may 1problema lng ayaw ng erpat ko!!! Kaya balak ko gawin kunwari binigay ng clm8 ko yng rims para mag mukang wala akong ginastos. hehehe Sya nga pala semi-motard lng gagawin ko. Nk ng sobrang mahal pala ng gulong pag super-motard pero may alam ako na ma pag bibilihan nyo meron din silang mga rims na malalapad naka-usap ko ksi yng mismong may ari sa JNmarikina ho sa may paliparaan complete sila dun.

    makikisingit lang...what will happen if you convert your offroad bike to a motard? not a rider here but would just want to know.

    Its just like putting slick tires on your mountain bike, it will be more road friendly and smoother to ride.

    Estimate cost conversion of a XR200 to motard = P 30T

    ok mga mods mo ah . . .

    i was a motorcross addict once, pero lumipas din

    naka bisita ka na sa YRS? so motard na pala look gusto mo. . . siguro recommmendation lang naman . . . if you need more speed, change the rear sprocket to a smaller one, if you need more torque (needed for the jumps) use a larger one. also the same goes to the chain

    also, yung swing arm ng xlr mo medyo manipis, may available yata na mas sturdier.

    also, wag natin alisin ang side mirrors, may mga slick mirrors na available sa iyong suking motorshop.

    WAG KALIMUTAN . . . . ang safety equipment . . . invest in a good helmet etc . . . costly, but it can save your life. sa sobrang addict ko noon may toolbag pa ako w/ t-wrenches sa waist with matching gloves. Lahat ng shirts ko pang motocross he he he . . .

    ah ok...thanks. kaya pala offroad bikes, well those use for competition are often loaded on a pickup. Somewhat the same as an 4x4 for competition being towed to the track. street tires more rubber on the road, more grip. mud tires less rubber contact kasi on road, therefore much dangerous when the pavement is wet. thanks for the info.
