Which reminded me of this incident about a year ago: Sa Adelantado to nangyari.

May naggigitgitan na motor at kotse--yung kotse nagsu-swerve talaga para padaplisan yung motor tapos yung motor naman tinatabihan yung driver's side window at dinuduro yung driver sabay mura nang mura.

Biglang huminto yung driver ng kotse at binaba yung window nya. Yung motor din huminto pumwesto sa kabilang gilid tapos may inaabot sa likod nya.

PInagmumumura nung driver ng kotse yung motor tapos humarurot ulit ng takbo. Habol ulit yung motor... Sabay kaliwa yung kotse papunta sa basement parking nung isang building. Wala nang nagawa yung motor kundi tumingin.

Tinitingnan ko yung likod ng naka-motor, walang namang bulge ng baril.

Madami ganyan, as if dudukot or may dudukutin to intimidate the other road users...
Hindi lang nila alam na sa ginagawa nilang kunwari dudukot ng weapon habang nakikipagmurahan they may be considered as threat/aggressor. And a war freak, paranoid or even a very cautious gun owner might considered him a free target, and fire at him. Lalo na kung sakay mo any member of your family or your friends...

I've been reading through this thread a couple of days ago not knowing na meron akong makikitang fatal accident between a motorcycle and a car last night. I was on my way home at around 12 midnight when I thought I was approaching a checkpoint sa tulay connecting Batasan and Marikina/San Mateo, and be surprised to see a motorcycle rider without a helmet on laying down sa pavement and not moving while the lady driver was still in her car crying (trying to call someone through her phone). Nakakapanghina talaga considering na hindi ko pa nakita na duguan yung bike rider or baka madilim lang talaga sa area na yun. The rider looks young siguro early 20's while the lady driver is at her late 20's naman. I was hoping nung time na yun na okay yung naka-motor pero by the looks of it eh talagang di na siya gumagalaw from his awkward position. I can't tell kung sinong dapat sisihin: bike rider w/out a helmet or the car driver who might be driving recklessly in the middle of the night (worst kung nakainom pa). But one thing lang that I want to say, siguro respect na lang from both riders and cagers because we share the same roads everyday.

This happened at a 2 way 4 lane road 3 nights ago. Traffic was a bit heavy so both lanes were full of cars. When I came up to that yellow box (the one with the "X" usually seen in intersections) I stopped to let a Tamaraw FX cross to the left since there was no space after the "X box". The car beside me also stopped to let the FX by. The FX slowly makes his turn to the left, and as he enters the opposite lane, WHAM! A counterflowing motorcycle hits him on the right bumper. Bits of motorcycle, headlight and bumper fly off the impact. I really felt sorry for the FX driver. He never saw the motorcycle coming. he was doing above 60 at least. He never slowed down at the intersection and was on the centerline of the opposite lane. Miracles still happen. Di nasaktan masyado yung naka motor. Nakakaawa yung FX driver, siguro iniisip nun sana di na lang ako pinagbigyan nung 2 kotse nung paliko ako.

medyo natatawa lang ako sa mga lowered na motor, di ko malaman kung may silbi ba sa aerodynamic yung lowered na motor. kaya tuloy minsan pag may humps, kailangan pa nilang tumagilid at sumakop ng malaking lane.

its really annoying regarding their tambutso masyadong maingay lalo na pag nakatabi mo stop sa traffic light mag rev siya ang sakit sa tainga naku!!!!!!!!!!:chopper:

Nangyari na rin yan sa king dati.

I was going out of our subdivision, entering the service road. Huminto yung nasa left ko na van pra makapasok ako ng service road, tapos malinis naman yung nasa kabilang lane.

Dahan-dahan akong pumasok, turning left dahil papunta kong bicutan from marcello village when WHAM! May motor na nag-overtake sa van na nasa left ko na huminto syempre natatakpan sya ng van dahil bumper ko pa lang yung lumalabas, di ko sya nakita.

Nasa hood ko talaga yung driver at yung girl na sakay nya!

While the girl was fixing herself up, the motorcycle driver looked at the damage to his vehicle, oblong yung gulong. Yung bumper ko din napunit talaga.

I asked them how they were. Umiiling-iling yung driver at sumama pa mukha nung nakita yung damage sa bumper ko so I though alam nyang kasalanan nya.

Then I heard some uzis saying "Magpapulis report ka!", "Wag mo munang gagalawin yan!" and several other sentences and to me they were implying that I was the one at fault!!

So I just took a deep breath, asked the motorcycle driver if they were alright. "Okay na to, ako na magpapaayos dyan." pointing to my bumper. "Kayo, gusto nyo dalhin ko kayo sa ospital?" I asked him.

Okay na din naman daw sila. So I asked " Sigurado ka?" When he said yes, I just left na lang. Mahirap nang makipag-away pa.

hmmm, di ko lang maintindihan sa mga "riders" e kung kahit may solid line sa gitna ng kalsada, nag-oovertake pa rin dun. simpleng batas lang naman ito. kasama sa bawat seminar sa LTO ang solid line sa kalye, minsan double solid pa. pero ganun pa rin ang ginagawa lalo na kung traffic sa direction nila. pati tuloy yung maluwag sa kabilang direction naaabala kasi may iiwasan kang motor na kasalubong mo na wala sa tamang lane.

isa pang tanong, kung nagkabanggaan kami nitong "rider" na ito na counterflowing at may solid line sa gitna, ako ba ang may kasalanan ayon sa batas?

isa pang tanong, kung nagkabanggaan kami nitong "rider" na ito na counterflowing at may solid line sa gitna, ako ba ang may kasalanan ayon sa batas?

Sad to say but the answer will be the both of you. . . Same situation wherein you killed a burglar who had just entered your house and tried to attack you. As long as somebody got injured, may pananagutan ka kahit pa nasa tama kang lugar.

But don't despair, formality lang kasi yan pag kinasuhan ka. The end result will still depend on the expertise of your lawyer . . . Most probably you'll be acquitted.

Kaya nga nagmomotor yung iba dyan kasi di kaya makabili ng kotse tapos itataas mo tax ng motor.

Kung mas taasan kaya tax ng kotse (o i-phase out ang entry level sedans) para mas lumuwag pa ang kalsada?
