Dani Pedrosa to race at Jerez despite nerve problem
Dani Pedrosa will ride in Sunday's Jerez MotoGP despite finding out he damaged nerves in his arm in a crash at the Japan Grand Prix last October.
The Spaniard looked to have made a good recovery following surgery but complained his arm felt numb during the season-opening Qatar GP on 20 March.
A scan showed his broken collarbone had mended but unearthed a nerve problem.
Pedrosa, who finished third in Qatar, will compete this weekend but could have surgery following the race.
"I had problems with my left arm and couldn't keep control," Pedrosa told BBC Sport after the race. "Finally I couldn't use the clutch for shifting as I couldn't hold the grip."
According to Dr Xavier Mir, Pedrosa has injured his plexus.
The Repsol Honda rider was Jorge Lorenzo's main challenger for the world title last year until he fell off in practice for the Japan GP.

Napanood ko Replay . Sa karera hindi mo talaga masabi kung sino mananalo hangang hindi pa natatapos ang race ang daming aksidente kahit mga pro. na itong naglalaban.
Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
