One time, I was suddenly alarmed upon hearing what I thought was a "very fast" vehicle seemingly approaching from my side/rear (3 to 4 o'clock galing yung sound). Sa side mirror, it was a car that turned right from an intersecting street I just crossed. It then went a little ahead of me on the right side lane, going in the same direction as I was. It had one of those ridiculous mufflers na pagkaingay ingay... and to think we were only going around 40kph...

Its none of my business (kotse nila yun eh) but for the life of me, I cannot comprehend how someone would fancy that to be "cool". It all comes across as stupid, attention seeking behavior.
