guilty sa no.4. hehe. i had installed yung pivot volt raizin na kulay blue. i can't even remember how it was wired up. i forgot how it was maketed and supposed to work. hehe.

Yung #1 and #2 diyan hindi lang useless mga yan- DANGEROUS pa.


One time, I was suddenly alarmed upon hearing what I thought was a "very fast" vehicle seemingly approaching from my side/rear (3 to 4 o'clock galing yung sound). Sa side mirror, it was a car that turned right from an intersecting street I just crossed. It then went a little ahead of me on the right side lane, going in the same direction as I was. It had one of those ridiculous mufflers na pagkaingay ingay... and to think we were only going around 40kph...

Its none of my business (kotse nila yun eh) but for the life of me, I cannot comprehend how someone would fancy that to be "cool". It all comes across as stupid, attention seeking behavior.

same here.. no mods as much as possible.. i only put oem kung meron.. like scuff plates na minsan sa top of the line lang meron or hood insulator.

sa lights naman, led bulbs lang but not too much.. yung iba kasi tadtad ng led accents at minsan may kilay pa.. yung H4 pinalitan ko lang ng philips ultinon led.. yung hindi nakakasilaw sa iba..

ayoko yung mukhang christmas tree na kumukutikutitap..

meron naman race chip talaga.. yung mga piggy back ba yun? not sure ako kung may epek yung sa obd port lang nilalagay.. pero yung naka inline sa accelerator or ecu may additional power / response yun

If a mod makes a person feel good it is not useless - even if that mod doesnt have a useful function.

Unfortunately some feel-good mods are a disturbance (e.g. loud) and dangerous to others (e.g. blinding headlighst)

Add tilting plate mounts. What other function do these have save for making the plates harder to read?

IIRC those are supposed to be spring loaded, so that at higher speeds the plate is tilted allowing more air to flow into your radiator or intercooler. At lower speed the spring returns the plate to vertical/90°.

I suppose making the plate harder to read, especially by a high-mounted speed camera when you're driving fast is also intentional, then in town hindi ka masita because it returns to a normal orientation.

Problem is the local fakers who copied it forgot the springs, so it's just tilted all the time.

I've yet to see spring loaded ones locally. So far, all are tilted down in traffic hehe. And for most of these cars, I doubt any significant aero/airflow benefits are gained. I think mostly for porma/iwas huli lang talaga.
