January 24th, 2022 02:56 PM #91ilalagay sa sako at dadalhin sa malayong lugar o dog pound. but i'm open to other suggestions. also of ways on how to keep them away. if you read my previous posts, i've been very, very patient and tried all the humane ways. pati pag install ng sprnkler sa bubong ginawa ko na.

January 24th, 2022 03:17 PM #93... for cats?
i don't see how.
our cats are here, day and night.
they don't get scared when i flash a strong flashlight at them.
good luck in your endeavor.

January 24th, 2022 03:20 PM #94my main problem is sa bubong. for the garage, we also have those motion sensing LED lights. don't work din.
ito na nasubukan ko:
1. scattering scents: lemon, citrus, vinegar, citronella, mothballs, albatross, bleach, coffee grounds and wine --> mothballs seemed to work kaso ang hirap na makabili and medyo delikado rin yung amoy. wine din i think effective kaso mahal naman hehe yung suka worked sa pocket garden. di na sila jumebs dun. kaso ang hirap i-maintain/refill regularly sa bubong.
2. chicken wire and plastic wall spikes on the walls na nilalakaran nila --> they just walk on it
3. sprinkler on the roof --> tumatakbo or sumisilong lang sila tapos after 5 mins, balik din
4. motion sensing led lights --> not really for the cats but they don't work too
5. ultrasonic motion sensor --> useless. they just stare at or walk past itLast edited by coiter; January 24th, 2022 at 03:35 PM.

Guess will have to skip those methods and just go directly to coolant ... by motion sensing led lights, I mean really bright flood lights ... 50W-100W ... positioned at their eye level ...

Cats are not afraid of lights.
Baka pwede ka makahanap ng trapping cage for cats, para isako mo nalang sila and bring them somewhere else.Signature

Ultrasonic alone won't work. There are versions online w/ LED strobes w/ several power options, USB/Car Batt/4 AA batts, in 1 gadget. Cost around Php500. Will they work? Worth a try.The most effective is to build a cat-sized, harmless, humane version of the commercial rodent cage trap. You can devise a guillotine door with a fishing line connected to a step-on trigger on the floor. All you need are scraps of your fave fried fish.... you won't even have to touch the caught to free them. Once trapped, deliver to kags for adoption or to the city pound for neutering/spaying prior to bringing to kags.[emoji16]
As Costner once said....Build it & they will come.[emoji4]
