Unwanted Cats

There's a neighborhood cat that has found herself a comfy nightly bedspace. Our car roofs. Tried switching slots....either she's too smart, too dumb, too stubborn....it has become her new habit. The sight of daily paw prints, fresh new pussy scratches is patience-testing.[emoji35]
Don't want the inconvenience of covers....that's a chore to have on dailies. Looked into options like motion sensored ultrasonic pet repel gadgets(dunno if they ever work), scarecrow(should be scarecat here), stuffed mean looking toys....or just bait & trap that wily pussy.....this last 1 will be a challenge.

Also: I used citronella oil around my car (poured some on the concrete floor) and on the tires largely eliminated this situation for me. Cats seem to hate the smell.

I kinda doubt it. I find it works well when the scent is a bit strong. When the scent starts to fade, I just spray/pour more oil.

tingnan nyo kami ni 12vdc na maka-nature eh hindi na gaano concern if akyatin kotse ng pusa. SA katagalan eh wapakels na.

Yung mga pusakal dito sa garahe eh 7+3kuting tapos may dalawa pa dayo sa gabi gusto makikain. Ni-isa walang pumupunta sa engine bay. Kasi alam nila kotse namin.

Chaka marunong tumae mga ito kumakalkal talaga ng lupa. Tingin nila sa garden eh forest.

Ewan ko ba mabait sa akin mga stray dogs and pusakal. May nagsabi din dati sa isang lecture alam daw nila pag tunay na christian yung tao. Booomyeahyeah holla!!!!

na-try ko na ito and effective siya sakin. bukod sa pagtigil nung pusa sa pagtulog sa hood ng saskayan, i also gained a pet/companion + napansin ko na nabawasan mga ipis sa garahe namin.
they are after all just trying to survive and seek shelter, they don't really mean no harm.

I'd go with yapoy's suggestion using a pellet gun. Yeah, I know it's more on the drastic side but these strays are reaaaaalllllyyyyyy bothersome and are a nuisance. Those scents, pepper thingies, anti-freeze, etc don't seem to work on stray cats since they're used to going around the garbage that's left on the street. I've tried them all. I wouldn't actually be reacting like this if not several years ago, I woke up to the sound of some strays fighting on the roof of my classic Euro and yeah, the aftermath was hair, blood and several scratches. Hit em and eliminate em
