July 15th, 2011 11:35 PM #1Does anyone here know if it is normal that the sound on my brand new strada GLX sounds like a duck being chocked? the sound doesn't fit the size of the truck at all.

Sorry, ma'am, but I have never seen or heard a duck being choked, so I can't compare. Besides, I cannot stand to choke a duck just to hear it out and compare. I'm sort of an animal rights advocate and am against cruelty to animals.
Seriously, if you're referring to the tweet-tweet sound of the stock strada horn, that really is how it sounds.
One of the first things we advise new strada owners is to upgrade their horns to a better sounding one. As they say, get the meanest and baddest horn around. One that will match our robust stradasLast edited by ooba99; July 16th, 2011 at 04:49 PM.

Fiamm SNFL, Fiamm Gran Turismo, Stebel GP3 or GP2, Bosch Europa, Roots Megasonic, dalawang Hella Supertones, dalawang Mitsuba, dalawang Stebel Magnum, dalawang Seger horns, or isang tunay na train horn.
I'm using only one set of Stebel GP2 with the shorter horn firing to the front, the longer horn firing downwards, gauge-12 wires, cable ties sa hose fittings (for leak free connections), the supplied Stebel 30-amp relay, and a 30-amp inline fuse.

August 1st, 2011 02:39 PM #9Doy,
I already have a pair of Hella Supertones on my ride.

Kung magdagdag ka ng isang set, try mounting them down-firing or towards the sides for peripheral blast.
OT: Asa na kaya to sila latagaw, jojo_mouth, and the rest of bisdakotse.
Puwede i try, 1. Palit air filter 2. Linis throttle body 3. Linis MAF sensor 4. Check spark...
high idle RPM at engine start
