my yokohamas are locally made. the champiro is indonesian, yata. (lumabas na kotse; can't check now.). the latter probably has the economies of volume.

well, "it looked like a tire and it rolled like a tire". so i don't think it's a fake tire.
    heh heh. joke lang po.
we got ours from a listed authorized dealer.
we've been using it regularly. if it's a fake, it's a damn good one.
kung sabagay. mas mura pa ung indonesian sa locally made haha.

    well, i'm a nationalist, po.
i'd buy local even if it were more expensive, but within reason.

we bought champiro, because it matched the rest of the four tires already in the car.

Free installation and wheel balancing usually sa tire shop. You just pay for the tingga and pito. Mura lang naman. Afterwards, you pay for wheel alignment. P450 for 4 wheels sa province.

make a few phone calls, po.
some shops' prices are a bit lower than others'.
but be mindful of the other costs that red already mentioned: installation fees, balancing, lead weights... pure nitrogen ( instead of ordinary 78% nitrogen mix)...
kung minsan kasi, ay dito sila bumabawi.

Sa ben's ok tires free ang balancing and tingga. Sa kanila ang cheapest sa lahat ng natanungan ko.
