    Engine swap mo na lang with a Ford Ranger engine. In theory papasok dapat iyon dahil they're both designed for use in Mazda/Ford pick ups, eh.

    Yung 2.2 ko carbon copy ng engine ng Mazda B2200. Sa minor stuff like air filter location lang yata nagkaiba.

    i just talked with Mang Mente yesterday.......

    in principle, according to him, ok daw ang PnP sa Diesel! All the principles that apply to gas engines apply to diesels. The problem is, hindi pa raw siya nakakapag-PnP ng Diesel. :| So ayo, ayoko na rin ....

    Hindi naman po malaki ang binabawas. Mayroon ng silang term sa gas engine, yun 0.1 or 0.5, something like that. Ginagawa lang smooth yun intake manifold. Hindi kagaya noon sa gas engine na malaki yun binabawas.

    Alf::: yun di nga iniisip ko pare, yung hindi mirror finish but still smooth. Kaso ayaw nung mekaniko and ayaw din ni Mechanical Guru ko :D Gusto ko sana si Mente ang gumawa, but wala raw sya experience sa diesel heads. Mahirap nang maging guinea pig :D I trust Mente's judgment. Pare malupit na machinist to. Baka kilala ng mechanic mo. :D

    I don't think so. Sa Caloocan lang kami napapa machine shop. Matagal ng namin suki yon, like 20 years. :wink:
