Sa gen1 ko, pull out (loosen screw first) in and out hose. disconnect the water indicator wire. remove the filter and the pump (primer), unscrew the filter and the separator (sa ilalim ng filter ito). replace with a new one. after assembly (water separator, mounting, water indicator, hose and all) it is important the you pump fuel by pressing on the top of the filter. may bleed screw to let the air out. loosen this while keeping your hand press against the primer (parang sa brakes). pag matigas na ang pag bomba and wala ng hangin ok na yan . good luck.

Mas makakasiguro ka pa kung pagawa mo sa mga service stations, tignan mo muna at pag aralan kung paano. Tsaka ka na mag experiment if you know the names of the parts involved.
But before you head to your service station, you can buy the fuel filter first at your suking sari-sari store... auto supply pala. 4D56 parts are so abundant, who knows? Baka nga meron?

Actually its quite easy. The hard part lang is to loosen the filter itself from where it attaches. You need a vise or an oil filter wrench. i did this myself last year. but kung ngayon, pagagawa ko na lang.

Ipagawa mo muna. Kapag napanood mo, then you try it the next time around.
Sinubukan namin ni AVP Kram iyan dati. Ang higpit ng fuel filter ko. Ayaw matanggal. Hindi ko pa maipasok yung wrench kasi nakabara yung intercooler at kung ano ano pa. Nakuryenta pa si Kram dahil may natamaan ata siyang wire with his metal wrench in hand.
Dinala ko na lang sa shop ni GlennSter. Stuck nga yung filter. Pati intercooler kinailangang alisin...
