Dude, i had the same problem before, turns out, i engaged the 4x4 and back to 4x2 wrong. I think kcboy mentioned it in earlier pages. If you wanna engage the 4x4 pop the transmission to N before you engage and when you wanna go back to 4x2, do the same thing and pop the transmission to N before doing so, then you won't have a problem with that not turning thing. Even if you're moving, just pop it to N before you shift the 4x4 throttle.

I've asked Union Motors Manila and I was quoted:

    1) Key = P1,100.00 more or less
    2) Programming the key = P1,000.00 more or less

So the total cost of the key is P2,100.00++. Maybe other dealers can give a better deal?

The reason I'm getting a duplicate key is that I don't feel safe with just two keys, that's why I'm planning to get a third key just for safekeeping / insurance.
Hi leonleon, and other MS owners! Happy New Year! Would you mind posting a picture of your MS keys + remote controls. The two sets of remote controls I got are separate from the keys..... are yours different? Thanks!

Thanks! GLS. I really like the utility of the MS. Another picture - this time on the campsite.

I just had a spare key done by Quickie. It can open the door but can not start the engine. Good enough for me as my worry is accidentally locking my key inside the car. It just cost me Pesos 100.00.

BTW, drove my MS GLS to Baguio for break-in. My FC was 8.7 in the computer display, but actual FC was 50.54 liters for 775 kms, for a very good 15.33 km/li hi-way driving. I avoided the traffic in Tarlac (via SCTEX) and Villasis and Urdaneta (via Binalonan). Obviously, the on board computer did not give an accurate reading of the FC.

There were lots of MS zooming in and out of CJH, and Baguio Country Club.

Input lang ako: I had my duplicate key done by a hallway-situated kiosk at 1 branch of SM. They also sell keychains, carabiners, etc. Their primary business is key duplication. I can use my duplicate key to start the engine of my Avanza. I think it cost me Php150.00 only. (sorry, almost 1 year na ang lumipas, e.) Sulit na rin, it's the lightweight and colored kind.

    Happy New Year!
