December 27th, 2008 11:32 AM #943Hi guys. Am new in this thread. Just got my GLS last Dec.11, Cool Silver. The price increase is true at least 100k over the current net prices, as whispoered to me by the exec asst of the VP for sales of my mitsu dealer. We are indeed lucky to have gotten ours before the increase...on another matter...well, expectedly FC during the break-in may not be good....mine is b/w 6 and 7 for the harsh city traffic of EDSA/MM, and 11 from QC to Clark..can I expect an improvement after the first 1K service?
Happy new year to all.

Happy New Year to all. Just got my unit today Dec. 27 Silver Gls SE. Ngayon lang ako
nagka car na diesel kaya nanibago ako sa tunog ng makina. Ok ang ride niya very
responsive and hindi matagtag. Sana lang nagbigay sila ng separate na manual for
the alarm.

For those "left" behind...do not worry (if its a consolation)...another option would be the Nissan Pathfinder coming next year (see related thread in the forum).

December 27th, 2008 11:37 PM #947Maybe Mitsubishi Philippines is preparing for the launch of the Montero Sports 2.5 4x2 and they need to make the price gap bigger.
So I think its actually good for people who likes the Montero Sports but don't want to spend extra for 4x4 or the 3.2L engine.

Yup, the price increase is true despite the seeming contradiction to good old common sense.
And to add to your state of confusion, not only Mitsubishi, but almost all the major automakers here in the Philippines have already announced a price increase in their vehicle lineup starting January 2009.
