July 23rd, 2014 09:40 PM #1Hello bros. kotse ko lancer 97 glx (automatic transmission power everything). papasok na ako sa trabaho tonight paatras ng driveway napansin ko hirap mag atras yung right rear wheel. may malakas na tunog as if may humaharang. nakaatras naman ako from driveway to street pero when i put it in drive 'D' ayaw na umandar yung gulong. pinarada ko na lang kasi baka maging worse lang ang problem. ano kaya ang problem and possible solution na dapat kong gawin sa nag lock up na gulong? thanks!

Two things:
Rear brakes lock
Wheel bearing needs replacing.
My guess... Wheel bearing.

Happened on our old car before. But again this probably won't be the recommended fix.

Had these problem with my previous car,
had to remove the wheels and struck the drum with a hammer to let loose,
i am using a cheap replacement brake shoes back then, after the that incident,
i replaced it with an OEM brake shoe, never happened again.
