minimal but worrying clanking sound..goes like this>>driven for a few minutes few kilometers, reached the ideal running temp, then when i stopped and idling, ican hear a clanking sound inside the car,goes out of the car and can hear it louder beneath the engine compartment, rev the engine,no clanking but on idle clank goes back..it happened na twice,first when odo was about 800km then today odo just passed 1k km,,>>switched the engine off,waited for few minutes, start up engine then clanking sound gone..the sound is like slightly continously hammering a not too thick sheet of metal..SOMETHING WRONG?? unit is MT

since unit is MT, try also observing the same while clutch is depressed. compare sound several times.. to rule out tranny, clutch, flywheel issues..
also have it lifted at a suking gas station or auto-shop and inspect loose metal bolts, parts underneath and try to listen/observe the same symptoms while underneath the car.. HTH. keep us posted sir.

Wyeshua, d ka nag iisa meron din maririnig sa monty ko ni refer ko to sa servise advisor normal lang daw yan. D naman tayo makagalaw o mabuksan ang rockergear cover para macheck kong saan galing yong ingay tunog lata naparang cause by vibration o may something nasumasayad. Sa akin nawala after almost 3k ang odo reading. 11k + na ang km run ng GLS V MT ko.

Hi Mga Sirs. Tried to do some research on why we can copy the GPS SD card but it does not work 100% when inserted in the HU. Got the SD Card of my wife who has GLS-V 2012 variant. Apparently it takes into consideration the physical serial no. of the SD Card. At least that's what the other GPS systems do. Yun ang di natin ma clone. The physical serial number of the sdcard is written at the back of the card. While the encrypted serial no of the original SD Card is in genietek\jfw_license.dat If we only knew what is the encryption key solve na sana tayo.

Sir yung nasa likod na serial no nung sd card hindi yan yung unique serial no. 10 digit dapat yun at hindi basta nakalabas. Kailangan mo pa ng software para makuha yun. Yun ang reason kaya isinesave sa notepad yung serial no ng sd card nung sa gps ng montero para matandaan dahil hindi sya nakasulat sa likod

What setting should be indicated on the LED panel? Tried playing with it and it only counted 1 to 0 then the negative sign? I have read it should automatically count down but have not experienced it yet.

Guys, may nakaexperience na ba sa inyo na nagloko yung alarm ninyo? Once naka engage, nagaalarm ng kusa. Kaya nakadisable muna ngayon yung alarm ko. Any known fix? Unit is glx nonvgt. Thanks

isa pa pala,,have you ever considered taking off the mount of rear view mirror from the windshield and attaching it as high as it can be taken(2 inches higher),ang baba kasi,harang sa paningin ko, naiswivel ko na sya sagad pataas pero kulang pa rin,,as i inspect it parang nakadikit lang yung mount ng mirror..puede kaya?

nakaglue yung metal part kung saan mounted yung rear view mirror assy. baka mabasag pa windshied kung pwersahin tanggalin. an option will be to glue another metal part on top of the oem. sinilip ko na yan when i changed my rear view mirror with auto dimming function

mga sirs hirit question>>just had my first change oil yesterday, i checked the oil level this morning(havent started the engine yet), the oil is more or less 1 cm higher than the max hole/level...pabawasan ko ba,o ok lang yun? delo gold ultra nilagay ng casa..(yung may-ari kasi ng mitsu casa/dealership dito eh owner din ng mga caltex stations)..billed 3.4k+ less 10% coz of caltex loyalty card=3.1k+

For those of you who have upgraded their audio/video setup or even the lighting system, did you also add the Pivot Mega Raizin, big three and grounding kits?

Also, the price of the mega raizin is way too cheap at sulit.com.ph. quite tempting to say the least... LOL

Buy a 100cms french 8 or 10 na feeding tube thread it in the oil dipstick tube, get a 10 cc syringe then aspirate mo through the feeding tube until umakyat oil. Dapat alam mo kung ilang liters linagay ng CASA para alam mo kung ilang cc ibabawas mo. Pwede rin yung sa drain plug messy nga lng and baka sumobra bawas. Balik mo na lng, bastat wag macontaminate yung oil
