Nagholiday na ko sa Whistler. Blackcomb nga ba yun? Pers taym ko makakita ng snow. hahaha. Hindi na ko nahiya sa ibang turista, talagang nagtatakbo ako.
Kaso mahirap maging doctor sa US/Canada. Baka di ko kayanin ang MLE. If ever I have to migrate, gusto ko maging EMT/Search&Rescue.

lol this thread turned into a BC lovefest :D
bttt, i consider myself an enthusiast, so i too prefer to read the mags like C&D, MT and R&T more than CR. but i also understand that they are beholden to the automakers for ad dollars and test vehicles.
CR doesn't play this game - they are a nonprofit organization actually. as such, they can remain completely unbiased. i don't even read their magazine, but the fact that someone out there is demanding that companies make their vehicles safer and safer gives me some comfort.
that's how we get innovation and better cars. they also tailor their tests to the average consumer - i.e. someone who does think their vehicles are appliances and probably knows zero about driving techniques and vehicle dynamics. that's why an enthusiast may think their tests are ridiculous.
bottom line - organizations like JP Power, CR and the NHTSA have all worked together to give us cars that are safer in crashes, have more active and passive safety equipment, roll over less, and even get more performance with better gas mileage. i can't argue with any of that.

Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
