Ouch, kailangan pala matrace pa mga sira sa engine sir? May sound kasi na kakaiba e.. di namin sure kung sa fan.. and bumaba voltage pag reverse..
Alternator problem na yan sir if may voltage drop. Engine noise problem kahit hind gamitan nang computer kung competent ang mechanic easily niya makikita yan. Valves ba, piston rings, timing chains etc. Iba-ibang sound kasi na-cre-create nun. Ganyan kapag old school. hehe
Plan ko sana dalhin sa mindanao central diesel ata un.. para madiagnose san galing un sound.. sa tibay naman sir.. walang kupas.. total wreck un sentra na bumangga sa gitna ng koche before..
Probably tuning company lang sila ... si malabon diesel nag ka problema din ako sa washer, pero they quickly replaced it. Before siguro anyone decides to have theyre FM's tuned have it calibrated and nozzles checked up to standard at central diesel or malabon diesel. Then tsaka nyo pa tune . IHMO ... :D
To the owner of the FM na nag overheat... Malabon diesel does overhauling so i'd vouch they're shop...

Testa washer din daw ang problema kaya nag ka leak, tapos ang sabi ni mang erning regarding dun sa nozzle tips, 135 daw kasi ang ginagamit para sa FM local, ang kinabit daw ng berrima is 129 which is for jdm daw. Wala naman daw problem dahil same engine lang naman daw.
Madali lang naman basta may proper tools and dextrous ka.
Ano pinagkaiba nila sir? baka yung 129 is for the EFI diesel nang JDM. If it is, then malaking pagkakaiba yun. May JDM kasi na EFI at mechanical (same with local FM). Sana ma-clear yan.

May katagalan na din na lurker ako dito. Currently, meron kami L200 pickup 4d56 engine. Medyo kabisado ko ng konti ung makina na un.. Torn kami to get Paj FM 4M40 engine vs Gen1 Montero Sport 2005 same engine. Hingi sana ako ng inputs sa inyo..

I used to drive A/T cars, pwede po ba hingi ng inputs on those things to check especially on A/T? First timer po to buy auto trans. Ilang rpm ang normal shifting ng Mitsu? From the previous pages of this, marami ako nabasa regarding sa hard starting, calibration,egr, occ, turbo timer etc.. If possible, may I know the running price of my choices?

RT di ko na tanda eh... Pero sa Bosch depende raw yun sa modelo ng injection pump. Kahit local pareho, pero kung magkaiba naman ng modelo ang pump, magkaiba rin ang nozzle tip. Kung anu yung orig nozzle na nakakabit sa Unit mo, kelangan same model... let say 129, 129 din dapat ipalit para standard. Me pagkakaiba kasi daw yun sa spray pattern

1. FC if 4m40, its around 5.5-7kms sa city then 9-11 km/l on hi-way. Fuel efficiency is dependent on how heavy your foot is
2. Since its old most parts are available, you can maintain it without depending sa casa
3. Banawe
Sa choices mo I'd go with the lowest mileage, Less squeaks while driving and freshest interior (no cigar smells, clean upholstery or no cracks)
Shifting is around 2-2.5 RPM on OD mode-ON

Consider the Tire condition, 1 set of tires (4pcs) brand new (non-china) can easily set you back 30-40K pesos on stock rims..

Sa A/T, dapat tignan mo yun shifting behavior niya. Dapat smooth shifting. Yun lower mileage, yep nadadaya yan kasi analog lang yun odometer, pero nasabi na ni BG na bihira gawin yan. Bentahan ng FM ngayon, mga model 99 nasa 500k pataas. Yun mga early 00's, nasa 600k pataas pa yan. Mga last release na FM, nasa 900k up.
Sir bg and sir testament, salamat po.. well un nga din ang concern ko sa mga low mileage vehicles baka nga may daya sa odometer. Sa makina po ba, signs of blowby? ang nabasa ko kasi sa mga older pages, ung talsik sa oil filler cap parang normal yata due to high compression ng diesel engines. dati kasi yan ang sinasabe nila na blowby na ang makina. ano po ba ung acceptable na talsik/usok na lumalabas sa oil filler cap/dipstick? pwede po paki-confirm kung ang 1999-2001 FM model ay walang egr?

Ang alam ko ay may EGR pa ang mga unang FM. Yun sa blowby, check mo yun talsik ng oil. Pag sobra ang talsik ng oil, pwedeng blowby na. Tsaka mararamdaman din sa takbo yan at dapat kung may usok yun sasakyan, wag bluish yun lalabas, kasi pag bluish na, pwedeng blowby na.
Engine number nasa right side (kung nakaharap ka sa sasakyan) sa likod ng makina pag local 4M40. Pag kasi Subic/Cagayan, nasa left side sa unahan lang. Chasis number, nasa likod left side (kung nakaharap ka sa sasakyan).
