pros:
easy to do
laki ng map... (sarap tignan kahit i know my way around)
cons:
no more center a/c vents.. hehe
tablet cold (kahit kasi shut vents.. may konti parin lumalabas)

I've thought of this a long time ago because of the convenience it offers. However one thing you should be aware of (which is why I wouldnt recommend doing it this way) is that the cold air, despite "closing" the vents from the aircon will probably ruin your tablet in the long run. Condensation will occur not only outside the case but inside the tablet making the circuit board of the tablet moist. Remember the tablet is in direct contact with the vents. This is why it feels "cold". Condensation is worse during sudden changes of temperature for example when you use the tablet inside the car with aircon then shut it off and leave it while parking, or worse, bring it out where it the outside temperature is really hot.

Condensation, and water in the long run, will form inside the tablet. And as we all know, water and electronic gadgets does not really go well together.

Yung K&N P/N ay 38-9207 para sa Pajero. Baka pwede nilang makuha yung size nito para sa hurricane filter.

bakit hurricane?

AC baklas buong dashboard pagnagpalit ng center vent yong sakin dami ng bali-bali 4800 na ngayon yong orig na pang FM labor nasa 2k-3k kaya pinag-aaralan kong baklasin yong sakin pero gusto ko hindi na wood panel yong carbon fiber na galing sa Pajero Evo baka sakaling may matyempuhan sila sa Japan pwede din plain gray malinis din tignan. Gusto ko din palitan temp sensor ko kasi nasa 1/4 lagi bihira lang umangat sa malapit sa half yon ay kong babad na sa traffic1.5k din quote ni Carline, El Dorado at BBW sa akin nyan

about moist.. oonga may condensation nga konti.. hehe...

nagtry na din kasi ako niyan, yung portion ng air filter box after dumaan sa hurricane after a while eh maalikabok, pino siya, unlike when i am using k&n. meaning yung super pino na dust eh pasok diyan

may dalawang bumili sakin ng k&n na naka hurricane noon.. isa po forumer dito sa tsikot pajero..
pag naluma daw po.. pag lilinisin na... gamitan mo ng compressed air... hindi parin daw po malinis... kaya sakal daw makina..
nung una nga akala ko similar lang.. ang tanong ko pa.. naka hurricane kana why kapa palit? hindi ba sayang? sabay sabi niya sakal daw pala...

stock po would be better than hurricane.. or yung mga replacements sa autoshop.. btw curious lang.. magkano po ba.. hurricane ngayon? thanks

2500 hurricane hindi cya nakakafilter lusot mga alikabok kaya nga kumuha ako ng knn sau AC mas sigurago
CB sana sinabihan mo ako libre ko lang binigay yong sa akin mga 3months ko din yata nagamit hindi nakakafilter ang lalaki ng butas

In my opinion, mas maganda po ang magpalit ng air filter element every change oil (5000 kms), kaysa sa mga washable type filters. I just recently changed my engine oil with eneos, atf with aisin, oil and fuel filter with vic, and air filter....gumanda ulit hatak and medyo tumipid ulit.

That's what I do. I just change the oil and air filters every 5,000 kms too. I started using K&N filters in 1994. They're good but I feel it's a pain to have to clean them and "recharge" it. I'm lazy.

Kung android OS ng tablet mo AC, I'd highly recommend Waze lalo na kung me wifi connection ka on the go. Pati traffic flow speed kaya nya ibigay most of the time, unlike OEM navi systems or garmin types na directions lang at madalas panget pa yung route... hahaha

Docrols, sa pag kakatanda ko 5 ang turnilyo ng dash. 1 behind the clock, 2 behind the small upper side vents and 2 under the dash sides.. Of course kung me airbag mas kumplikado or is it just remove the battery? hehehe

Nice set-up Doc... IMHO baka masira ng snorkel yung theme ng set-up mo. Pang street kasi arrive ng rig mo, and yung snorkel if for off-pavement.

BTW wala bang huli yang roof lights ngaun?Sbi ng iba bawala daw pero dami naman naka ganyan...

AC, di talaga pede dukutin, ilang beses ko na tinry yung ganun method. Tanggal talaga dash, pero yung fins tingnan ko mamaya kung pede.
