Condensation will occur not only outside the case but inside the tablet making the circuit board of the tablet moist. Remember the tablet is in direct contact with the vents. This is why it feels "cold". Condensation is worse during sudden changes of temperature for example when you use the tablet inside the car with aircon then shut it off and leave it while parking, or worse, bring it out where it the outside temperature is really hot.
Condensation, and water in the long run, will form inside the tablet. And as we all know, water and electronic gadgets does not really go well together.
