Yes, somehow, but still the muscle will know the difference no matter how thick the suelas. But the muscle effort will be basically the same. So 'tis negligible imho.

Like you cannot move the shift lever from P to R or D without depressing the brake pedal first. At least mabawasan yung driver error. One time my car wont start yung pala nasa neutral yung shift lever kaya ayaw mag startMitsubishi Montero Sudden Acceleration Accidents [MERGED]

Though in defense of the montero I tried starting it in "D" it would not even crank.

*error pala kanina. I meant you could start it in "N" or "P"

also may i share ang experience ko.

pagka park naiwan ko naulanan yung montero nun gabi. on some but admittedly rare occasions sa umaga nag bi-bind yun caliper sa disc because of surface rust. i have to press the gas considerably just to break the sticking brakes. of course nag lu-lurch forward. i could imagine one getting caught off-guard. again to be fair I have experienced the same with our fortuner.

this happens to me also, in my non-monty car.
    kaunting praktis lang...
my concrete garage wall is just a foot away from my front bumper... pa-atras ang gawa ko.
