Age is just a number. Lalo na kung gym fit body ka. I know someone who is 75 yrs old and araw-araw hatid-sundo pa niya mga apo niya sa Ateneo. Grabe trapik doon ha. The stress alone, I can only imagine the toll on the aging body ... and yet, living proof siya na pwede.

    2. Throttle surge due to voltage spikes and clogged EGR or SCV are not unknown. In fact, there are complaints about surge in other markets, but it is still supposedly controllable by the brakes.

    3. An extended surge requires a more major malfunction, however, and possibly extra oil to burn... (oil leak in turbo?) which would have resulted in a bluish cloud rather than the black cloud in the White Monty video (there was some blue, but not all that much).

    4. And you would still have to explain why the brakes didn't work.

    5. And you would still have to explain why the brake lights didn't work for exactly one minute only.

The first two, however, could provide clues as to the cases of the ladies on the highway, though I think mat entrapment or mechanical throttle sticking cannot (and should not) be ruled out there.
    Re: 4th and 5th paragraph

Almost all SUA victims claims are the same-- "the brakes are not working" more than 100 na yan..

Ans. To paragraph 4 - can explain 5th paragraph--

Maybe Lang not sure-- at ang sabi NGa mechanical Lang ang brake lights... Parang switch type ang brake lights? Tama po ba?
