Very sad... horrid, even. In the news, 2 fatalities na and among them, a 5 y/o girl.

It's odd that the line of bollards didn't reach the end of the sidewalk. From the looks of it, the car actually skirted around the bollards and that's how it ended up where it is.

If only there were 2-3 more bollards, things could've been so different and likely less tragic.



EDIT: Not sure but it may seem that the car may have actually destroyed one of the bollards. If so, forget what I said above.

Very tragic. Looks like it destroyed one of the bollards. The bollards seem designed to stop sedans and not something with more mass and taller?

Yeah decorative bollard. A proper one is supposed to stop even a heavy truck.
Apparently the ones at NAIA are just for security theater, and are probably just as effective as those stupid bag checks at malls.

Oh, no....I didn't know there were casualties. So sorry about that.

Ramon Ang said he will shoulder the expenses of those who were unfortunately involved in the incident.

I hope the 2 victims who does would be given justice and what's ultimately due them.

I don't get it the driver allegedly said there is a vehicle in front then he got panicked? but based on the cctv there is no vehicle in front of the Everest.
