lapit na kasing mag MAJOR MAJOR yung maintenance ng L300 ko (20K odo), ask ko lng sana kung mag kano aabutin yung kapag nagpa maintenance ako sa CASA....saka pa list naman po ng mga parts na papalitan....ANd lastly, ok lng ba kahit hindi ko sya sa CASA ipa MAJOR??? i mean kahit dito lng sa place namin na mga auto shop okey lng ba????

need some advice mga ka tsikot.

change oil, tune up, belt tightening, check coolant, check gear oil, replace fuel filter, adjust brake. pag sa casa yan, more or less 10k budget mo.l

We just received a hand me down '99 L300 Versa Van from a relative with "only" 32K verified original kms.

But its service is sketchy at best. Warranty/Service booklet indicates no service was performed in any Mitsu Casa since day 1. Yes even 1st 1K and 5K service coupons still unused. tsk tsk tsk. I'm guessing the frequency of their change oil can be counted with one hand.

They had the timing belt and some other belts replaced last year.

First things first. I will have all fluids drained and replaced step by step. Coolant, Differential ,Transmission, motor oil + filter, clutch/brake, and power steering.

What I plan to use:
Motor oil to is Petron Trekker SAE 15W-40 API CI-4
Gear oil + transmission: Shell Spirax
Power steering: Shell Spirax ATF

Complete aircon cleaning, recharging, etc at Mit-Air Service Center at Paco.

Add leaf spring "muele" on both rear sides.

Install new tint.

This would be the 6th L300 in our fleet and the only Versa Van. 1 cab chassis sold already.

I replaced front disc brakes in our exceed. Php 780, Bendix General CT. With ridge and titanium strip. The old pads were still thick but its really squeky and annoying. Good as reserves. Now the grip is better and no more noise!
Just for price comparison. My location is Sta. Rosa.

Share ko lang, yung samen nawala yung overheat problem niya nung tinanggal ko yung thermostat sa engine. Sabe nung iba magdagdag ng aux fan for the radiator para mabawasan yung heat pero hindi ko na nagawa yun kase nawala na agad nung natanggal ko yung thermostat.

i got bendix general ct for versa van, 650 pesos at a neighborhood auto supply. caliper kit for 250.

i will have new ceiling and sidings by wednesday.

dalawang beses na po akong pinara ng ASBU. sinasabihan ko lang sila na "gas ito," ok na.

sir maganda po un na inalis tlaga ung thrmostat pero dpo long term un kasi po ang nagpapalamig ng engine ntin is airflow thru radiator sa assembly kasi ng l300 d masyado nakakapsok ang hangin so marami po ako gnwang solution to beat the problm of overheating sa l300

dagdagan mo po ang fuel sa tanke at least 3/4 sa guage para madali mag akyat ang fuel sa filter. pag ayaw pa rin umandar, pa bleeding mo po isa isa ang injector sa mekaniko. check mo na rin ang glow plug baka busted na.

good day mga sir/ma'am! kamusta na po ang mga L300 ninyo? dalawang buwan na sa akin ang '95 Versa Van Gas ko. weekend at coding car ko ito, puwede rin ito sa baha. pero dahil nakakatuwa itong imaneho, madalas ko na rin itong ginagamit 'pag weekdays. mga 8+ kilometers per liter ang nakukuha ko, sana mapabuti ko pa. huling napalitan ko ay baterya, hinatid ng motolite noong ayaw nang mag-start, mga 5k ang presyo, 21 months ang warranty. kung diesel naman, mga 6k daw. kalalagay ko lang ng Cyclo Ultracoat engine treatment (wala akong mahanap na X-1R). Castrol Magnatec engine oil ang gamit ko; transmission at differential oil ko ay Mobil Mobilube. nasira na ang speedometer gear ko, 'ung maliit na plastic gear sa may transmission. may nabibiling 600 sa auto supply at mahigit 1k naman sa el dorado. ang ginawa ko, binaligtad ko lang 'ung gear dahil 'ung kabilang bahagi ay hindi pa pudpod. gumana naman ulit ang speedo ko. 120 kph pa lang ang pinakamataas na naabot ko. paminsan-minsan ay miss ko ang liteace na aking dating gamit (nasa probinsiya na), pero masaya rin ako sa L300, 'pag flat-out parang go-kart. ok rin at maraming naisasakay na pasahero at mga gamit. madali ang parts, 'ung iba nakasabit lang sa auto supply. kung 'di ako nagkakamali, 24 taon na itong ibinebenta nang brand-new. happy motoring mga ka-tsikot!
