Raf n j sorry late reply

Raf, between gold n extreme, feeling ko pareho lang. F/c i think is also the same. Ang difference nga lang, nung nagpafull tank ako nun isang araw, 50.70lang per liter hehehe.

J, yung participation ko sa insurance 3k. Pinalitan nila since fairly new pa naman yung bumper kaso may butas.

Sorry hehehe...

    Raf,

Mine is 3K too. Mukhang pareho kaming People's General Insurance ni spat. Tama ba? Yung sa officemate ko dati Malayan. Participation fee is 10% of the vehicle value. Medyo mabigat...

and worth it ba mag add ng 80k pesos for a 05 grandis whics has 36k kms less? yung 420k grandis kasi madami na napalitang parts from casa worth 63k plus para maging good condition. iniisip ko kasi baka after awhile gagastos din ng ganong amount pag dating ng 70-80,000kms kung yung isang grandis na mababa pa ung mileage ang kukunin. any advice? thanks mga sir.

Insurance ko is Standard, around 26K pa yung premium since the car is still relatively new. Pero ok pa ren since 3K lang participation. Usually the participation is 1% of the appraised value pero I got it at .5% participation. Dami ako natanungan and Standard offered the lowest inboth the premium and the participation.

Pare mahirap den talaga pag 2nd hand kasi as is where is an usually no warranties. There are pros and cons of getting a high mileage vs a low mileage car. Ok ren naman to get a high mileage car, but well maintained naman. While if you get a low mileage car but with little maintainace gagastos ka ren sa repairs especially if hindi nagagamit.

The mileage of the Grandis is not bad for a 7 year old car and tama lang ang tinatakbo kasi that translates to roughly 13K kms per year. My advise is to bring a trusted mechanic to look at the car and if possible to an extensive road test and if possible pa lifter mo to see if may mga tagas ang car.

    Good luck pare.

My insurance is standard tulad ng kay rafmac. Yung kotse sa chevy dealer ginawa since may kakilala

raf, kung rerenew ka ng insurance i can refer you to my kumpare na insurance broker.
You can just ask him what insurance company he handles (ang pagkakaalam ko kasi he handles 3)

Tama si Raf Brother R or you can bring the car directly to the casa to have the car checked so you can also have an idea what parts needs to be replaced and how much you will spend should you get the car. Also, if the car is casa-maintained, you can get a copy of the maintenance record to see what parts have been replaced already. Ask if the car was involved in any accident.

You can also test drive the car best at noontime turn the aircon on adjust to max if possible. Try to go uphill and observe the engine. Before and during the test drive, try to observe and listen to sound of the engine. If you could drive along the highway, do so in order for you to check the higher gears. The engine should not make noise when you drive above 100 Km/H as you also observe the RPM. But the best I guess is to have the casa check the car for you though you will spend a few bucks for the tests, you can be sure of the car's condition before you decide if you will go with the purchase. HTH. Good Luck!

I can't recall the color anymore, on whether it was beige or the dark grey.
