guys, how often do you replace your lower suspension arms and what brand are you using, genuine OEM ba, replacement, o surplus? kung replacement, anong brand po ang maganda? may nabibili bang ball joints lang para sa lower suspension arms?

i acquired my 1997 mitsu galant super saloon on sept. 2009. pinalitan ko po lahat ang lower suspension arms, curve and straight, binilhan ko ng bago sa ATCO Pasay, dealer daw sila ng Mitsu genuine parts. After 1 year pa lang, makalampag na ang car ko and when my mechanic checked the lower suspension arms nong jan., 2011, e damaged na daw and kailangan ng palitan. worse, my car broke down nong may 5, 2011. tumangal ang bolt ng lower suspension arm (straight).

Ever since I bought my 99 Galant (last 9/07) nakabig ng konti sa kanan. I thought wheel alignment lang, but when I had it checked at RAPIDE, Suspension Assembly ang problem. It would cost around 20k!! But I heard RAPIDE has a bad rep when it comes to repairs so nagpa-second and third opinion ako sa mga local mechanics, and it they're both telling me na TIE-ROD lang ang problem. The trouble is, wala rin ako alam na trusted shop to buy it. Gusto ko sana sa BANAWE kaso nga baka mali ang maibigay sa akin ayoko na nag pabalik-balik coz I'm from Laguna pa kasi. I tried buying OEM parts from Mitsubishi kaso either wala sila available parts or they haven't answered my queries (thru email).

3 years ko na gamit ang car ko (thank God wala naman serious problem na nararamdaman). Kaso upod na ang front tires ko. I wanna have it fixed na rin talaga. Like Galant ESS's question, saan nga kaya makakabili ng reliable OEM parts ng MITSU other than MITSU INC. itself? Any recommendations any1?

hi, bago lang ako dito...tanong ko lang sana kung may kakilala kayo malapit sa pasig-cainta along floodway na mekaniko na expert sa galant...meron din akong galant '99 shark VR V6...minsan nagpa-flactuate ang rpm nya pag naka drive and reverse, baka may diagnose kayo nito?

my mechanics told me that there is no vacuum in the servo. My aircon specialist told me to ask a mechanic to repair/check the servo. Sabi naman ng mechanic ko, baka raw madaan sa linis. Baka raw nabarhan na ang mga daanan ng hangin kaya di nadedetect ng servo ang aircon para tumaas ang intake.

I had the same problem bro, my mechanic condemned the air intake from the servo bale nag bypass siya and nilagyan ng mechanical actuator wherein yong ng trigger ng actuator is from the compressor of the acu, ok naman result pero minsan bumabalik pa din. Last resort will be to change the servo assembly and it will cost around 13k for the new one.

Brothers, my gf's galant was checked * a casa sumwhere in the metro a couple weeks ago. Minding my own business, did not asking her about anything re the car but this afternoon she told me that the bill will amount to 80k. Is this reasonable given that no tranny replacements were made, nothing major? I will try to know more about it 2m and will post soon as. Thanks 4 ur inputs. Hav a good one.

Try Richcar sa Banawe. From QA turn right to Banawe, I think after 3 corners on your right side is Richcar. I used to have my GTi serviced there and buy parts as well. I still have my GTi with me, parked and taken cared at home.
I've been out of Phil for 2 years now, and before relocating to Vietnam, I sold my Accord 97, Crosswind 02 and Pizza 97. I retained the 92 GTi. We can talk more why, just PM me

My galant is 1997 model super saloon, automatic tranny w/ 4G63A engine. 2 ang timing belts nya, yong malaki, may 123 teeth, at yong maliit, may 65 teeth. You need to change the timing belts every 70,000 kms.

mga sir; tanung ko lang po kung meron dito nagpalit na ng timing belt ng galant '99 (shark type) super saloon 4 cyl. tanung ko lang po kung ilan teeth meron yun belt? plan ko po kasi maghanap hanap na, nagtanung ako sa mitsubishi sabi need pa daw baklasin para actual na bilang. sabi ko pwede naman siguro makita yun sa brochure nila. kaso di sila makasigurado. tnx in advance.
