July 25th, 2004 11:05 PM #15If u ask me, di ako bibili any model na galing subic na converted, especially RVR, Estima, Delica etc. etc. You know why?

hello!
i would like to share some information about my rvr. i have a gas non turbo awd version and frankly i'm very happy with it! it's fast and very easy to drive. it has great leg room for a small car and so far i have had no problems with it. my only wish is that i got the turbo version instead. i had the conversion inspected again for my peace of mind and the mechanic gave it a thumbs up. my friend has a turbo version he told me that he raced an evo lancer once out of town and the guy was so dumb founded why he couldn't shake of his rvr. its quite thirsty though at 6km to a liter city driving. i heard the diesel versions do about 11km to a liter. another thing, hope i can find a surplus space wagon dashboard coz mine is ugly. anyone have an idea where i can get one? thanks

July 30th, 2005 09:53 AM #18OK naman ang RVR so far,I have same but 2.0 cc 4D68 TDIC engine.ok ang engine walang usok.malakas din arangkada kaya lang takaw sa diesel.excellent ang riding comfort & suspension stable na stable kahit sa kurbada .properly insulated pa walang ingay marinig sa loob.like a rally car hehehe...
Neg feedbacks:
1. right side mirror not set properly.Wrong angle
3. wiper unit not accurately aligned sa w.shield but already rectified
4. takaw sa diesel( don't know with gas)
5. mahirap daw hanapin ang parts
wala naman major welding re-connection kasi rack type ung power steering ass'y nito hindi gear box type..binaliktad lang ang position with the same mechanical linkages.
check molang maigi ung unit lalo na sa dashboard area maraming naka condemed.pero sa akin pina set up ko na ng maayos including aircond ducts and ventilators.ung digital auto climate air cond control nya pina balik ko sa original circuit kasi dati naka recta lang.
generally i love my rvr kaya lang problema un future maintenance nito kasi mahirap daw hanapin ang parts.

I don't see what's the biggie. Why don't people get the Spacewagon? More space, and it's still fun to drive, even in 1.8 liter trim.
These are nice cars, para ngang Lancers with wagonbacks on them.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
