i just like the rvr for its sportiness..but rue, i'll favor a chariot/spacewagon as a replacement for my delica...(diesel only,k?)my avatar and sig shows that i like the rvr..and if only i had a money, i will get one for satisfying my driving pleasures...

sir jeegoogs, ilang ang estimated fuel consumption nyang rvr mo?kasi may mga nagsasabing matipid daw sa diesel yan..ang prob talaga is 1: timing belt, some internal engine parts, this is 4d68 2.0LTDIC,right?, ang 2.0L 4g63 walang prob,..may ocal na labas tayu dito, 4g93 1.8L dohc engine internals ang iba(maiksi compared to 4g63),pero otherwise none...2: a/t tranny parts and its 4wd systems..

ang sidemirors, dash, light(if not w/ winshield washers)/wiperwands, a/t shift lever and lights can be easily replaced with spacewagon spares..so as with the chariots...excluding those chariot garandis(3rd gen), and those 2nd gen rvr(just like my avatar)..

i researched good about this car..its a good sleeper, and i like sleepers..

    a.yummy,

puede pala side mirrors ng space wag,how about the headlights?

pwede, pero, you have to get a whole face..fenders,grill, etc.....pero ok n ung face nya, pero ang downside is ung RHD low-beam configuration, diba?

kung kukuha ka ng spacewagon parts, kung may masasalvage kang local na spacewagon ng mura, ipagpapalit mo parts mo dun, tska benta mo ulit...un sure kang "for LHD" most of the parts..

nakadrive na din ako kasi ng diesel, ang sarap nga...what more pa ung 4g63T...hmmm, sa fuel consuption, parang pareho ata sa delica ko,a...pero ba minimum yang 9km/L mo sir,a.....delica talaga is only 5-10 km/L, kahit anu pang gawing kong patitipid sa driving...hope i could afford one rvr like yours in the future...

tsaka most rvrs are AWD, unlike dito na FF lang..and just a guess, suspension parts are bigger than those locally available, right?

dont you worry, baka may makita ka ng parts na un..

Share my experiences with my 1993 RVR Sportsgear A/T Turbodiesel 4d68. Had my timing belts replaced at 103TKms, bought at Mits Parts in Banawe for 3500k (includes timing belts A&B, overhaul gasket set). Labor cost 1500k for half day of work. Very timely as the old ones have small cracks on it. Downloaded owners manual at www.mitsubishi-forums.com (Sportsrunner in europe). Test drived it to Subic, very stable (full-time 4WD) and reach easily at 120kph at NLEX, my average speed, max at 140kph. Reached San Fernando at 30mins. Fuel expense approximately at 500k back & forth (P24/L diesel).
