Hello po, just a newbie planning to get the 'family ride'. I'm basically looking for a family car I can use for driving the kids to school to and from work (alam natin traffic situation, masyadong masaya hehehe).

I was fairly convinced on a another small hatchback car (1.5AT) but seeing the price of the Adventure, this sounded more appealing. Comparing a 1.5 with a 2.x would be senseless, but I'd like to hear you thoughts on the FC of the Adventure. Anong FC ng Adv on city driving?

    Also...

    - ano yung upgrades ng Adventure '08 over the previous models?
    - maintenance wise, how is it?

naisip ko lang mas masaya mag-outing ang family on a spacious ride than a hatchback hehe

    TIA folks,
    R

The Adv is perfect for long drives ave 9-11 km/liter city driving and more on the hi-ways. the engine is the trusted 4d56. The FC is a car like feel with more space inside. value for money and upgrades and sarap pagandahin ng advie the chjoice is yours.

updates on 08 pretty much the same except for the ralliart mags on the SS and minus the stickers on the new ones.
but oversall if you are in to trust and tradition then advie pretty soon will be one of those classics

maintainance is minimal with your regular PMS on sched.
    so .

the advie is there for your family to build on those long rides and the memories

    go for it.

    pros:
    1 Its cheap.

2 It has lots of package for its price compared to other vehicles.

3 It has a very reliable engine, diesel or gasoline.

4 It is more refined, has a more quiet engine, has better engine performance, and has better ride quality than its direct competitor, the Crosswind.

5 It has better go-anywhere and drink anywhere capability than its newer rivals(common rail-engined)

6 And most of all, again, it has a very reliable engine.

    Cons:
1 It has a quite anemic engine. ancient engine.

2 Newer rivals are more refined, has better engine performance, and has better ride quality.

3 Gasoline engine is very thirsty.

4 It has below average fit and finish.

5 And most of all, it has no safety features other than seatbelts.(since you'll use it as a family car)

    Sir,

Why buy a headache? unless you really really like the car you are looking at, (is it a rare model? or a bargain?) and the cost will recover the time and expenses you will be investing in. Just think about the cops specially in makati area and the MMDA who will be on your way when you get out everytime you drive.
It is up to you sir if you think it is worth it.

I drove my bro-in-law's Adventure to Pampanga last week. I'm not much of a fan of this car, but I must say that it drives fairly well. FC's not bad at all as I was able to tag along my wife and 7 friends of mine. I thought it would be makupad. Mahina sa simula pero malakas yung dulo. It felt pretty stable at 120 kph. Since my bro-in-law's Adv is the 08 Sport (GLS ba yun? Sorry, di ko masyado saulado name), it's packed with really nice features.

Hi, ano po ba ang average fuel consumption ng Adventure Diesel 2.5 for city and highway driving? Napapansin ko kasi sa adventure ko 10-11 km/L for city driving and 11 - 13 km/L pag highway. My adventure is 2001 model. Just want to know if my car is still fuel efficient.

It is indicated on the side door of my 2001 Mitshubishi Adventure that the Cold Tire Inflation Pressure must be 26 psi for front and 50 psi for the rear tire. Is it ideal to follow those inflation values? I found 50 psi too high for the rear tires, so normally I go for 28 psi for the front tires and 40 for the rear tire. But I feel 40 psi quite hard when my car is not loaded.

^^Oo nga parang too much na iyong 50 psi sa likod . Thanks for your reply!
