Guys, any link on how to remove the head unit? I think there is a loose wire in my head unit. Nawawala sound whenever I play DVDs lalo na pag nalubak.

    Thank you

Sir kung sa DVD playing lang nagma-manifest yung tumatalon/tumitigil na sound, at kung walang ganun kapag radio/usb/bluetooth music, mukhang sa DVD na yun mismo at hindi sa wiring. Try other DVDs of CDs kung ganun pa rin mangyayari.

Yes. Sa DVD lang nawawala yung sound. What is weird is I have to hit the side of the head unit to get the sound back.

I have tried different DVDs and they all loose sound.

Meron bang ibang wiring for DVD play or the same ang sound output as with the radio?

    Thanks

Pag nagplay lamg ba ng dvd nawawala? Or maski naka radio lang? Baka naman nag skip lang yun dvd pag nalulubak.

Weirdest and most annoying thing about the MS's GPS is, when you enter the name of your destination, and the name has multiple locations.... (For example, restaurants with multiple branches)

Typically, for a regular GPS, like Garmin, Tomtom, Magellan etc,- it provides you with the choices from the nearest [location] where you're at,-to the farthest....

But the MS's GPS provides you with choices randomly,- like all over the Philippines or Luzon.... This is most annoying and confusing,- since you have to scroll [down many times] to find the right choice/site...

Any setting that I might have missed?- Or is this the thing with this GPS???

    TIA, bros.

Guys/gals alam nyo ba pano i-randomize MP3 playback on USB port? Music kasi ay organized by Folders. Saka when it comes to GPS Navi. I prefer to use talaga Google Maps or Waze sa phone. Pero ki Monty hirap gumana kasi nag upgrade ako to 3M Majic tint. No choice minsan kundi gamitin built-in GPS Navi.

if you are the adventurous type and there are no other responders here, you might try pulling out the HU and see the behind.
or, you can try the stores for the same unit, and request for a viewing of the unit's behind.

but wait ka lang. may sasagot din dito. it's such a popular unit...

Walang RCA yung montero 2014 HU.

You'll need to use LOC (Line Out Converter) para makabit yung wiring to the mono amp.

You can buy it sa car accessory shop na nasa mall. Parang 400 ata yung converter.

^Thanks for the insights bro. Medyo issue talaga ang space sir eh 😑

Actually may ganyan na akong under seat sub sa isa naming sasakyan at ayos na naman sa akin ang sound reproduction niyan. Pero aftermarket na h.u. nya at speakers. Nagpalita ako out of necessity

Palit nalang din ng speakers boss

Kidding aside, since may experience ka na with the underseat subs, alam mo na pala what to expect sa sound.

But AVT head units tend to "filter" out sounds kaya you might not have the same sound experience with your other car which has upgraded HU and speakers.

Hello, need to ask a newbie question for montero users. I have a 2012 montero, will I be able to connect my iphone (iOS10.3.3) via usb lightning cable to the stock head unit? the headunit was recently updated. wondering if i can connect my phone to it, so it can play music while charging?

Asking po, because sa old car ko, i had a pioneer head unit, wondering if the montero 2012 headunit (AVT MMS i think) would be able to connect my phone like the pioneer headunit??
