guys, nagreserve na ako ng diesel gls sport kahapon. i think diesel is the more practical choice. while nasa casa (dasma, cavite), tinanong ko yung head mechanic on his personal choice and he said diesel daw. mas marami nga lang daw oil needed during change oil pero over-all, diesel is very reliable. mas di daw sakit sa ulo. kaya yun, diesel na choice ko. unless, somebody here really convinces me otherwise. salamat sa tulong ninyo !!!

i think you're correct, the diesel version is the way to go. people don't buy adventures to go racing anyway.

i got to drive a cousin's diesel adventure last weekend. the lack of power left me completely speechless. i think it has HALF the horsepower of my old mazda. it certainly felt like half.. i don't know if my cousin's adventure has a problem, but the shift stick was shaking like mad, i couldn't rest my hand on it. totally unlike a car.

still, kung bibili ako, i'd get the diesel adventure. it's not a car, and i shouldn't expect it to perform like a car..

Yikes! Does he regularly maintain his ride? Na calibrate na ba ang pump? Ilang km na yan?

The idea here is avoid flooded roads if possible. But if our rides need to fjord a flooded street, then kaya yan, as long as direcho ang takbo, and we don't stop in the middle.

mine is 2003 gls sport diesel, and about sa ingay ng makina, i think depende yon sa kung paano mo nabreak in kasi as of now malinis andar na makina ko. sabi nga ng mga kakilala ko ang tahimik raw di halatang diesel sya. kasi ang pinsan ko meron syang revo GAS pumunta sa amin and we have the same engine sound. that means di sya maingay talaga.
ang vibration naman mararamdaman mo lang sa manibela, pero di yong malakas but slight vibration natural meron dahil nga diesel.
in a long run diesel is more powerful than gas. from batangas to subic balikan kahit walang patayan ng makina kayang kaya.
