    In our MX CVT, computations vary everytime we top the tank.

    Most recent was:

    City 11kpl
    Highway 24kpl

    Ung highway I just set the manual override (sportronic function in mitsu speak) to 6. Sa city naman light step lang talaga sa gas and pag gitgitan talaga, di ko na tinatapakan basta naka-"D".

    We even had a crazy experience before of driving Festival Mall, Alabang to San Fernando, Pampanga round trip with just 350 worth of Gas (nasa company record pa nga ung receipt)

    Nakakapagtaka talaga ang CVT vehicles when it comes to fuel mileage. Minsan parang xwind sa tipid, minsan parang unreprogged optra sa takaw.

    Naobserve ko lang, I get 100km per 1/4 tank. That's city driving only.
    50 liters ang tank, so around, 400km/50l = 8km/liter. During acceleration, I usually let CVT rev to 2k rpm, then max is around 80km/h-100km/h.
    * 100km/h rev = 2.2k rpm.

    Fuel wise, it's a normal 1.6l car, you just get max of torque down low.

    On highways, its usually 15km/L, though. Manila -> Batangas.

    BTW, I use caltex techron silver during city driving, Gold during highways. Should I use Gold during city driving? When I used Gold during city driving...Full tank -> warning light 450km, there should be an additional, 50km till totally empty right? But in my view, why should I choose a more expensive gas, when u are stuck in traffic most of the time.

    Feedback on this na lang. Confused din ako e...Gold ba or Silver?
    P44.5 Silver
    P46. = Gold.
