They use children to show how easy it is to enter the third row and how spacious it is...Hehehe
I must know, why do many Filipinos have an aversion to beige interior? I personally like it, its light and airy, and doesn't show through light seatcovers. Black interior can get very hot. It's not just because it gets dirty, Filipinos are supposed to have utmost personal hygiene :P
I miss shopping for cars in USA since there are many beige interiors. Here in Philippines they're all black interior and I miss the lack of alternatives.
maliit pa sa innova?

Beige interiors are like black body paint. Nice to look at, but a pain to maintain.
I'd probably go nuts trying to maintain a black car with a beige interior.
The livina I have has a beige interior including the matting. I tried to maintain it for a year using a leather seat cleaner and fabric cleaner. When the youngest brought in a gum that got stuck to his shoes, I gave up and left it to the car wash attendant to vaccum and clean the interior. Even a new pair of blue jeans is susceptible to color transfer.

the seat fabrics of some cars suck. eg dodge caravan. it would be blue from my jeans also. but my current elantra with beige car seats have been good.

scaled correctly. xpander is 5.5% shorter than innova. that's 260mm shorter
Surprised no one bothered to post dimensions yet for comparison.
(L x W x H x WB) in mm
Innova
4,735 x 1,830 x 1,795 x 2,750
Avanza
4,140 x 1,660 x 1,695 x 2,655
Xpander
4,475 x 1,750 x 1,700 x 2,775
BR-V
4,455 x 1,735 x 1,650 x 2,660
Innova is still the big boy among but I'm guessing Xpander won't be far off due to monocoque chassis, and shorter engine bay allowing more length for interior space. Knowing Mitsubishi, this will be competitively spec'd and aggressively priced. Still not convinced a small 1.5L can pull this big vehicle without suffering from poor fuel consumption. Hopefully priced around 800K for base, 900K for mid, and below 1M for totl.
2018 will be expensive for this Mitsubishi. Effective na new excise tax
