usually lumalabas ang next year's models mga 4th qtr of the current year.

kung di pa naman kelangan, maghintay nalang kasi mas malalaki discounts pag year-end. i doubt rin na magkaka update ang xpander kasi medyo bago palang sya at madalang or very minor lang magupdate ang mitsu. hopefully, magka findings and solution din yung fuel pump issue.

no diesel.. with its success i doubt theyd be developing a diesel variant..I dont think they have a fwd diesel tech anyways.

Hi Sir Im new here kasi I also got an Xpnader Mt last Dec 28. Last Dec 16(Sunday), I happen to dropped by Toyota in Lipa. Since sunday, showroom lang ang open and ang target ko Rush. So marami dun sa yard nila pero wala manual and gusto ko white. Maayos naman kausap agent and ask me to be back the following day and pag may approval na ako bago daw matapos ang taon kaya nya ipa release. Since maaga pa nataon naman napadaan din kami sa Mitsu. Punta rin kami sa yard at un meron manual na XP. Ang luwag at 7 seater na agad ang manual. Tapos un price nila that time is 955k pero automatic daw meron sila 70k discount so 885k lng vs rush na 945k na walang discount. Kaya lang worry ko matagal maglabas ng unit xpander nababasa ko months ang hinihintay ng iba pero sabi ng agent hindi na daw ngaun. Basta available sa planta kaya na agad marelease. So the following day(Monday 17), tawag ako Mits for the formal quotation. I got an approval sa Bank and the Bank forwarded the PO Dec 27 (note 24- 26 walang pasok)tapos Dec 28 na release unit ko. Bilis di ba.

i have a gls AT. 1.5 months old and so far mga 9km/l pure city. hatid sundo sa schools around qc. mga 30kms per day travel with some waiting times.

MITSUBISHI MOTORS VIETNAM ANNOUNCES THE RECALL OF XPANDER FOR REPLACEMENT OF FUEL PUMP

To ensure the safety for consumers and to perform properly the responsibility as a manufacturer, at the request of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC), from October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2021, MMV officially carries out a recall campaign for XPANDER to replace the new fuel pumps for 14,051 Mitsubishi XPANDER vehicles, with details as follows:

Note: All XPANDER vehicles, which have been sold from 24th September 2019 to Vietnam customers, have already had the new fuel pumps installed.

The phenomenon is that the fuel pump inside the fuel tank may stop operating, resulting in inability to start engine or engine stalling.

Based on investigation result informed by MMC, the impeller made of resin inside of the fuel pump may swell and the fuel pump may then stop rotating. Although the root cause has not been fully found out, in general, resin parts with lower filling ratio have lower resistance to swelling.

Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam will carry out the recall campaign of replacing the fuel pump with an improved one for involved Xapnder FREE OF CHARGE (including parts and labor) at all MMV authorized dealers in nationwide.

The time for the replacement work is 1.2 hours (about 72 minutes).

A free engine oil change coupon with validity period of 6 month shall be also applied for XPANDER customers who bring their cars to MMV’s dealers for this recall campaign.

In order to save the waiting time of customers, MMV is looking forward to receiving the understanding and the positive cooperation from car users, customers are encouraged to actively contact the nearest authorized Mitsubishi dealers to make an appointment for better serve.
