true. it would've added value at no extra hardware cost. i also appreciate yung side mirror fold/unfold on engine off/on rather than on door lock/unlock. kasi minsan may kukunin ka lang sa loob, di naman kelangan mag unfold yung side mirror.

Okay din itong paglagay ng cruise control sa basic models. Nakaka alis ng pagod mag maintain ng speed sa highways na up and down or kurbada. Mas relaxed mga legs.

Malauwag skyway at SLEX NB kahapon kaya malaki distances. Kung may proper distance kaya pa din ma adjust sa trapik gamit +/-. Parang naka video game. Lagi lang ready paa mag brake pedal.

So I looked it up and the owner's manual makes no mention at all of the transmission.


Maintenance section is page 292 of this PDF.

Maybe it's in the service manual, maybe it's by mechanic's guesstimate.

AFAIK changing the filter will require removing the transmission oil pan, so it's probably not something done very often.

Edit: Found the maintenance schedule. ATF only needs to be replaced at 100k intervals, which will probably include replacement of the filter.
Mechanic is probably correct in saying the filter doesn't need to be changed right now because even the AT fluid change is way ahead of schedule.

Iyong local generic warranty booklet, ATF change lang na mention sa 45K intervals.

100k, 60mo. Intervals pala. Nasanay na sa 40k intervals. Sakto din since 5 years na ang unit. ATF change muna siguro, sa next time na ang filter strainer.
