    Tanong ko lang po kung may difference ang power ng engine, taking aside the intake restrictions. Lets look at it, bare engine lang po. Kasi even if parehong 4d56 engine ito, nung tingnan ko ung engine ng adventure ng company namin, may nakakabit sa side eh. Before yata nung headers. Ganto rin yata sa mga pajeros. Ung sa L200 ko kasi bare engine lang tapos headers and exhaust na kaagad. Ano kaya ung device na un? hehe labo ba? :wink:

    I think its just the same, I swapped my engine for a pejero engine the intake and exhuasts are the same, except that may turbo.

    I think you are refering to the turbo. Same lang yan, except for the intakes. I think yun sa Adventure sa intake manifold may sound canceller something para hindi mo masyadong madinig yun hagok ng intake. Yun sa Paje ko no turbo straight lang, from air filter straight na sa intake manifold.

    im new here at tsikot. tanong ko lang if may available bang gasoline engine that will fit my 99 model L200 na may 4d56 diesel engine. thanks!!!

    magpapalit sana ako ng diesel engine para dito sa L300 VV model '97 ko, ang makina ay 4G63A, mag fit kaya ito dyan sa L200 mo? Mga brod baka may idea kayo . . . .

    hello mga bosing,

    pwede mag tanong kasi may problema ako sa L200 1995 medyo maingay yung 4D56 engine ko pina Tupi ko na pero ganun pa rin at sa tambutso niya parang may ingay din ako naririnig ingay parang bakal na pinupokpok ng bato na maliit, at may isa pa akong tanung kapag may crack auxillery fan may effect din sa ingay ng engine ko. baka pwede bigyan ninyo ako suggestion sa problem L200.

    mga sir tnong ko lang dn bkit mgkakaiba output ng power ng 4d56 kpag nkalagay sa 4x2 L200, L300, L300 exceed, at sa adventure? dhil po ba sa bgat dn ng sasakyan mismo? sa internet ko po npansin...

    Base nila siguro sa power to weight ratio. Sa dynometer test ang pag rate ng HP.

    Iba-iba nga. Hehehe. Iba iba kasi ang intake at exhaust configurations (due to space, cost and other factors) kahit pare-pareho ang basic engine. Even identical engines don't have the same output. Parang average lang yung published figures ng manufacturers.

    puwede bang i headers ang diesel engine like the 4d56 turbo kasi sbi nila mas lalakas dw ang hatak kpag malaki yng headers

    alam ko po, wala gaano difference kung headers mo, a better alternative is to change the stock 2in muffler pipes from the engine to a 2.5in from the engine all the way to the muffler, you'll definitely notice a change in power. gaganda pa tunog ng muffler mo.

    Mga sir tanong lang po ako-is there way to minimize black smoke coming out from tambutso ng ADV-02(4D56-diesel)..pag start kasi laging meron black smoke esp sa umaga then as you travel it becomes lesser..gumamit na ako K1R, meron na din ako Fuel Enhancer (similar with vortex) ganun pa din...balak ko na pa-overhaul yong injection pump pero gusto ko muna makasiguro kung yun nga ang tama gawin. Hindi daw naman blow bye yung engine kasi hindi pa daw naman kumakain ng langis at hindi naman white smoke ang lumalabas..I went to one shop sa Alabang dahil dun daw may gumagawa ng injection pump,(i cant recall yung pangalan nung shop), aabutin nga 16K pag pina-overhaul ko. Is it really advisable or worth na ipagawa ko na injection pump ko, pinakabitan ko na din last week ng drain valve sa ilalim, para madali lagyan ng H2O hose pag linisin ko yung muffler.Looking forward po sa mga advises nyo...

    Sir good day! may ask lng po ako sa inyo lahat, about my L200 model 1995 gusto sana mangyari sa engine ko sana iminimize yung ingay niya tapos may nag suggest sa akin na palitan yung injection pump ng injection pump ng hyundai but my injection pump it is ok. anu sa tingin ninyo pwede ba? ang orignal ng injection pump ng L200 pa square dba yung ipapalit parng circle yung shape.....

    sir newbie lng po share ko lng opinion ko sa diff ng 4d56 gnito po ksi yan ung unang labas ng 4d56 sa l300 1999 below may pg kakaiba sa 4d56 ng adventure sa timing belt lng iba na mas marami ang ipin ng old 4d56 compare sa mas konti ang ipin ng new 4d56 kaya may factor un sa speed at hatak

    afaik, different internals yung n/a 4d56 vs turbo 4d56.

    though one tsikoteer here says he was able to add turbo in his n/a 4d56.

    the pistons and piston rings need to be replaced with turbo type. a surplus turbo charger costs 10-12k and you need to have it overhauled (at a cost of another 10K). you'll need to buy a turbo type intake manifold at 5-7k.

    Bili ka na lang ng surplus na 4D56TID, saka mo landiin para sigurado ka pa. you can always sell your NA 4D56.
